1.16 Do you agree one should focus time on job instead of spending time with family.     07.10.20

While people should focus time on job, it is bad to take up the time which one should spend with family, although for some people, the assertion that one should focus time on job instead of spending time with family seems pretty plausible.

With the rapid development of economy, work quantity has witnessed a speedy increase. Work makes one engross and engulf in, which is more and more difficult for one to distract from, it is increasingly significant as one of most engaging part of our life. Studies consistently show that the average American spend almost twice time on work than did their counterpart in the past. We all have only 24 hours a day and it is clear that the more time one spends on working, the less with family. Hence, it is natural and necessary for one to focus time on job instead of spending time with family.

Tempting as such claim might be, it is hardly correct way. Nowadays, one may arrange numerous extra work even monopolise the time with family. But the fact is, if one exceeds his/her limit of energy, little effective he/she will get. Instead of tremendous amount of work, it is the increasing pressure of modern life causes one’s reflection of spending less time with family could increase one’s ability to focus at work. We have no definite evidence to say people nowadays suffer more pressure, but it is obviously true that people nowadays submit great pressure that comes from increasing hard work. However, since family is storm-avoided harbor and backup support, from where one have capacity to win great understanding and affection. It definitely plays a meaningful part in one's spiritual life, and is worthwhile for one to spend time on.


Admittedly, one should ponder the opinions and feelings of the people who will be impacted by his/her work. For example, husband and wife should support each other before making up their mind to pursue another goal of work. Obviously, American’s current president Obama, as he say, his success attribute to the strongly love with his wife. Therefore, they should spend enough time to communicate and exchange feelings with each other. As a result, one is able to greet more caring and gain increasing motivations towards work, that definitely cause work be more effective and efficient. After all, the pursuit and motivations of next achievement can impact many aspects of their lives together, such as the substance and spiritual quality of their lives. Therefore, I can hardly agree that one should focus on job instead of spending time with family.
