The result of the study based on the two incomparable groups that all patients who are diagnosed with muscle strain would be well advised to take antibiotics as part of their treatment 下划线这句不能很好地概括该实验的特点,改为 are intentionally given different treatments)(is 删去)failed to support the hypothesis that secondary infections may keep some patients from healing quickly after severe muscle strain. A careful examination of the argument in the following will reveal how unwarranted the study is.
First of all, the conductors in the two groups are not the same. The two different doctors who treated the two different groups may influence the result. The first doctor (is删去) specialized(时态和后面的is不搭) in sports medicine, while the second is a general physician. The skills of the two doctors may determine the prognosis(这个词用得不准确,改为treatment results较好) of the patients.  That's to say, the first doctor who (删去is) specialized in sports medicine may be more able to treat the muscle strain. So the fact that the recuperation time of the first group is 40 percent quicker may be result of the techniques of the doctors, not the antibiotics .
Second, the situations of two groups in the study are uncertain. Did the two groups have the equal amount patients?  Were the degrees of their injuries similar? Were the circumstances where they have been having their treatments the same?  May the first group is less serious(仅仅less serious不能指代前面所有情况,有搭配不当之嫌,可改为recovering under a better circumstance and treatment) than the second. All of the things above are not clearly illustrated. Without excluding possible other factors that may influence the results, we can’t agree with the arguer.
Third, the argument lacks (of删去)the details of the treatments. Other therapies may (be删去)existed as well as the antibiotics. In the first group where Dr Newland took antibiotics regularly throughout their treatment may be taken under other therapies like rehabilitations trainings, physical therapies or taking other medicines at the same time. Also, (in删去) the second group treated by Dr. Alton may be given sugar pills without any other therapies. If so, the effects of the two groups will be
definitely different. As a result, more descriptions and explanations of the treatments of the two groups should be demonstrated.
In a word, the result of the study based on two incomparable groups is insignificant and is unable to support the hypothesis. Advanced researches and studies are needed.

注意时态和细节。
