Ph.D. fellowships --- Robotics and Control
Withthe establishment of CUNY Centerfor Perceptual Robotics, Intelligent Sensors and Machines (PRISMCenter), the CityUniversity of New York (CUNY) is expanding its robotics research program.Applications are invited for 2~3 Ph.D. fellowships available at the EEDepartment of the City College,City University of New York for incoming Ph.D. students in Fall’2009 semester.The successful candidates will be provided full fellowships for the first year.Tuition will be waved with possible RA or TA support for up to 5 years on thecondition that the students maintain good academic stand.
Applicants are expected to have master degree in electrical engineeringor computer science with solid mathematical and analytical skills.Exceptional undergraduates with research experience in robotics and control,computer vision are welcome to apply. Students with scholarship from the ChinaScholarship Council are encouraged to apply. In addition, strong programmingskills using Matlab, C++ or Java are preferred.
