that前后同义重复，所以前半句和后半句都有对应，viewing works of art in --- of time and cirumstance和absolute qualities对应且为反义重复，原因是和time and circumstance有关的就不会absolute了。所以前半句空格应该填cannot escape的反义词，即为elude。
