还是不清楚为什么选D，E怎么不对了？考试时好像不能马上就知道意思吧，我就像知道怎么选出D的。还有resort to是褒义词吗？一般用在什么地方？

casual与第一个空应该是泛反义关系，ACE都可以，重点是第二个空，破折号表解释说明，causing agents是癌症的诱因，对应的是第二个空，只能和易感性，即susceptibility对得上，随意选A.

这道题offering no wisdon but the obvious很重要，意思是没有什么智慧在里面，说的都是显而易见的事情。这个想说明的就是陈词滥调的意思，能够判断出可能选platitude.第二个空说没有specific advice恰好说明很没有规定什么合理什么不合理，进一步确定make almost any action justifiable.

由特征词however可以看出逗号两边的转折关系， 代入C的第一空格：不管罗马诗人们多么的新颖独创，他们必定会有一些他们所钟爱的早期作家（这里填入的信息应该可以削弱他们的独创新颖的特性），所以第二个空格可以是emulate。
