我认为“分号：”后的内容，是前面这个认识或是猜测的evidence 或 proof，也就是之所以没有slake the thirst，slake意味着减少(reduce)，是因为aspiration of documentaries导致了interests的increase..

这道题我觉得D也行啊。。。之前好像看到有人问这题，但是没有什么解答。。

amorphous也有模糊的意思。mordrn指“现代”的，却常常被历史学家使用，所以使这个词的含义变得模糊起来。and正是顺应前面一句话，表示结果。

如果用acceptable，应该是its usage has become more acceptable than ever, 不是meaning，meaning只能变得amorphous.
