Do you agree or disagree, technology make people’s lives simpler in turn to make people’s lives more complicated.

I strongly agree with the statement that technology make people’s lives simpler. Modern technology like transportation and internet is shorten the distance between people and flatted the whole world.

As the revolution of technology sweeping throughout the world, the human beings has stepped in a brand era, a era in which it seems lots of complicated work can be done by simply pressing a button. Three hundred years ago it took years of adventure for Marco Polo to ship to China but now in just one day anybody can get anywhere on the earth if he/she has a plane ticket. Three hundred years ago children in village with the hunger of learning failed to get school education but now they educate themselves online at any time anywhere. Three hundred years ago making a pair of shoes needs several a person working several days and nights but now they can be manufactured in minutes by auto machine pipe line. Thanks to the technology people work and live more efficient.

Also the technology, admit or not, enhances the easy usability of products. Taking Microsoft for example, the world famous windows operation system is so easy to use that even a 6 year-old kid can operate a computer. By several clicks even an old man can order a book from Amazon and receive it some days later. By using the GPS, people can locate himself/herself and get to the destination without knowing the exact route in advance.

However, some technology did make our life more complicated. For most vacations in company applicants are required to have some basic computer skills. Because of the technology development people have to learn how to swim in the ocean of information, how to find something they need, how to deal with endless work and how to keep a balance.

In conclusion, although the technology challenges people to learn more skills, it provides simple and convenient lives for people to enjoy.
