Agree or disagree, technology cause children show less creative than they were in past.

With the development of technology, there are lots of inventions being brought into people's everyday lives, such as TV, Internet and computers and the new generation, the children, show kind of less creative than the ones before. I believe certain connection exists between the cutting-edge technology and the missing of creativity of the children.

For the first place, one important character of creativity is the ability of thinking in a novel way which TV has a negative effect on. Before TV shows became popular, children spent lots of time playing together and arguing with each others on nearly every thing that they were not familiar with and in this process of argument children gained the ability to think in different ways, which is helpful to cultivate their creativity. After the population of the TV, each child just watched their own TV at home. What was worse, the content of these programmes were all the same, which made the children have a similar viewpoint on everything at the beginning of their lives and hardly would there be any creativity existing after they grew up.

The other important character of creativity is the ability to gain the knowledge in a personal way. After entering the era of Internet, children started to rely on the power of it in a great extend. When the Internet was not popular, children did homework and wrote composition all by themselves, but after the coming of Internet age, lots of answers and ideas could be easily searched using the engine like Google or Yahoo. When the teachers were annoying with the similar answers handed out by the students, people also started to worry about the future of this generation and question their ability to find new knowledge with their own effort.

In summary, the fast improvement of technology is making the children lose the power to make a decision and create novel things by themselves. The whole society should pay great attention to this phenomenon and people need to take actions from now on.
