Agree or disagree: Teachers should be paid at least as much as doctors, lawyers or business leaders are paid.

As the development of society, the competition between people is more furious than ever before. One of the foundations to win in this competition is an excellent education background. So, more people recognize the importance of chasing a higher level education. However, at the same time, there are still few people focus their concern on teachers' treatment. In some case, teachers are living a much worse life than doctors, lawyers and business leaders in the society. In my perspective, although teachers have a higher social status than that before, there are still much to do to improve their physical life.

To begin with, role of teachers is as much important as other social roles, such as doctors, lawyers and businessmen. If doctors are working to repair our body injures, teachers are the builder of our mental world. When we were young, it was teachers that taught us what beauty is and what filthy (ugly) is, making the original direction of our world value. As we grow up, teachers lead us to the science world, teach us the latest knowledge and widen our horizons as much as possible. Without knowledge, it is impossible for us to build a solid foundation to chase more success in research fields. Besides, this knowledge is the basic skills for us to live life in the world.

What is more, teachers are always working harder than other social occupation. From primary schools to universities, teachers are the most studious people working for students' growth. As a tutor of children, teachers almost devote their entire life to help their students collecting knowledge for both living and researching. We can see teachers do their best to take care of every student in their classes, while professors in universities work in their office to solve scientific questions asked from students. Therefore, teachers devote more than any other career in the society and make their efforts to improve the social development. All these are worthy to payment of doctors, lawyers and business leaders.

Last but not least, paying more to teachers, which let them live a better life, could benefit the development of our society. Nowadays, many teachers who work in villages and small towns are paid so little that they are living a terrible life there. But all these places need knowledge, science and technology hardly. Because of the horrible payment, more and more people are quitting their jobs as teachers, which is very disadvantageous to the social development of these places. Hence, if we can pay more to these teachers, they may still stay and keep on spreading knowledge to these scientific barren groups.

To sum up, we should pay teachers at least as much as doctors, lawyers and business leaders, not only because they should have this treatment for their hard work, but also because this will benefit our social build.
