Do you agree or disagree: governments should spend more money in support of arts than in support of athletics such as state-sponsored Olympic team.
As the news that China is the champion of the 28th Olympic Games spread all over the world, a growing number of people weigh the importance of athletics supeior to that of arts.Contrary to the opinion of many people is my heartfelt objection to the idea that governments should spend more money in support of athletics than in support of arts.There are several reasons to account for my choice.
Admitted or not, arts is to a country what water is to fish.Just as the saying goes,technology is the vital productive forces.The whole country will develop smoothly with the enhancement of arts due to the competence knowledge brings to us.Take Japan for example,It is a country that focus on education ,especialy arts,and contribute various inventions to the world but doen`t do very well in Sports activities.However, so strong the country is that nobody dare ignore its status in the world. The arts education ensures its technology advancement and leads to its incomparable status in the world. To boom technology development, we ought to spend
more money in school livraries, science labrories and other relevant fields which need to be maintained in a long time.
What`s more, some people may own a disabled body but excellent brain.It is knowledge that benifits people in their whole life. If we were those who are barely phsically healthy rather than psychologically healthy, we would
be less valuable to the society. Helen Keller,blind ,deaf and mime, performed even better than
healthy people.God deprived her of a healthy body but granted her with smartness and kindness.
It doen`t mean that athletics is less significant.needless to say, a strong body is favorable to our whole life and the honor state-sponsored Olympic team brings to us is far more than exciting.However, governments should pay more money for the vital thing,arts education since the finance is limited.
In conclusion，ｗeigh all the pioes and coles, I can’ find any reasons to oppose the statement that govenment should spend more money on arts than athletics.
