It’s better to use own knowledge and experience to solve question, or ask other people for advice?


There is a growing debate on whether people should turn to friends for advice or using knowledge and experience themselves, when they are entailed with problems. Many people regard that a sophisticated suggestion from an experienced friend or family member will successfully help us out. Considerably though the advantages that requesting advices from others are, they can not compete with the benefits that solving the problem by ourselves brings about, when acquiring independence and learning life experience are taken into account.
Firstly, we can not gain help and suggestions all through our life, the day that we have to perform our businesses independently will come sooner or later. Only through working out measures to handle all the troubles can we solve the problem purely and succeed in the similar things later. For instance, when I attended college the first day three years ago, I was so used to the affect and concern from my parents that I could not adapt to the dormitory life. Without the advice from my family, I messed all things and cried like a little baby. Step by step, I realized the significance of independence and started to find solutions myself. Three years later, I, confident and independent, am able to make decisions and conquer difficulties. The little crying girl was gone forever. Accumulating a great deal from solving problems by myself, I strongly agree with the statement that people should use their own knowledge and experience.
In addition, admitted or not, solutions from others are not necessarily fitting us. One advice may be helpful to a person but has an opposite influence on the other, since the circumstances vary from person to person. For example, when my friend Lily had trouble with balancing a part time job and a course of a strict professor, one of her friends suggested she explain the situation to the professor and ask for an incomplete . She followed her friends advise, as a result, her professor became extraordinarily angry with her and recon her a laze student.
Undeniably，advices, especially those from talent and sophisticated people, can easily enlighten us and create a new way to keep us away from difficulties. nonetheless, we can not ask them every time we are puzzled as a reason that they have their own business. What they expect most is that we handle things from their inspiration.
In conclusion, the advantages of taking use of our own knowledge and experience to solve problems far outweigh the strong points of consulting others for help. Accumulating failures and success, we are capable to conquer all problems by ourselves.
