Many teachers assign homework to students every day. Do you think that daily homework is necessary for students? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.


Almost all students have homework to do after school in China. Usually mountains of assignments for middle shcool students, while few for primary and college students. But I still hold the view that teachers would conduct students to find work to do themselves rather than assign homework and force them to do it.

Initially, children without independence will heavily rely on teachers, then they may lose the chance to build up their self-supporting. A fitting example is that many students from middle school to university feel vacuous in consequence of few assignments. When they were in middle school, teachers told them what they required to do, and they just completed it. They needn’t to think about why these homework were necessary to do for today’s classes. So they can not find work to do to strengthen the knowledge teachers taught in college classes. This directly result in their deficient ability of self-educated.

Further leading credence to my position is the fact that too much homework may prevernt students from a happy childhood. I consider that a really destination of everything human did is to get happiness. Thus a kind guideness for his/her optimistic personality outweighs the pressure from a lot of homework. Eminents never be cultivated by external stress but by their unique thoughs, which can only explored by some unique educating way.

Nonetheless many children can not understand the meaning of these views. It is hard to teach them to be perfect. When it comes to those children who can not control themselves to do significant things, the right amount of homework is required for them. After all it can promote the students’ ability of memorizing and utilizing.

In conclusion that everyday homework is not demanded, because it hampers the development of their independence and individuality to some extent.
