Teaching , as we all know is a kind of job which is constructive an benificial for ordinary people . Teachers have always been respected around the globe . As an old chinese say goes "A teacher for a day is a father for life" . In recent years , teachers have been playing a more and more significant role in both schools and the society , they inform the students academic knowledge as well as self-confidence . As far as I am concerned , It is far more improtant for a teacher to help the students to gain self-confidence .







Why there are students who always do well in their studies and student who often fail their exams ? Why do some students tend to give a quick answer in class while others know little about the learning materials ? Is the teacher should be blamed because of his/her failure in explaining everything clearly ? The answers
are absolutely no ! It is often the case that different student has different ability of mastering the new knowledge , some of them are quick-minded while others are more or less not good at comprehensing what the teachers inform ,in such a short time . Those so-called imcompetend students are usually not confident with themselves , even worse , they are afraid of asking questions and paticipating in group-discussions . In this sense , to help those students to gain their self-confidence is of the utmost significance at present . If the teachers keep imersing them with academic knowledge as the normal ones , in spite of their feeling , that would be extremely irrational.







As the new thechnics and aids of teaching increasing unexpectly , the role of a teacher has been changing all the time . Teachers are no longer knowledge-giver only , they are required to act as a perfect guider in a student life and help him/her to be successful in his/her future career . For example , with the help of computers , students can readily grasp the gist points and key factors of their courses . Thirefore , the current task of a teacher is to shape the characteristics of his/her students especially self-confidence to ensure that they will adapt the intensively competetive society . Teachers are just like stimulus and promoters which offers the students enumerous power and courage both in their current study and future lives .





Admittedly , a teacher should be dedicated to his/her job and be patient of explaining knowledges to his/her students untill they really master them . In another word , I do not mean to deny that a teacher`s main task is informing academic knowledges to students, yet I would love that teachers ought to put more consideration in offering his/her students self-confidence which is second to none for them , on the way to future success
