It is hard to say which choice is better, to work on a project until it was finished or to involve two projects at the same time. Different personalities, abilities and types of projects will lead to different answers. As far as I am concerned, I prefer to do two projects at a session because of its efficiency and interaction.

First and foremost, doing two jobs at one time is more efficiency and economics. Nowadays, to keep the rapid pace of social development, people have to work hard and meanwhile keep the qualities of their jobs. Doing only one thing at a time means more work time, or to some extent, a waste of time. How much time does a wife need make a delicious dinner? About one to two hours. Take my mother as an example. It cost one hour to heat the rice, half an hour to cook a plate. If she cooks one after another, how can she finish cooking within two hours? What she actually does is preparing two or three plates and heating the rice at the same time. In this way, one can do more things within limited time.

Second, there must some interaction between two projects. Hence, one can do only one thing which virtually benefits both two projects. For instance, when we are learning a foreign language, we could read some passages written in that language. Not only the vocabularies will be kept in our mind, but also will we understand the grammar and usage clearer.

What is more. Sometimes doing two projects at the same time also provides people another choice. When one encounters a difficulty in a project, he/she doesn't have to stick to the project like those who only works one project a time. He/she could immediately shift to the other one. Maybe, he/she will get some hints from the other project.

Admittedly, working on a project at a time has its own advantages. One can concentrate on it and try the best to finish it well. However, it is time-consuming job. Facing the fierce competition today, people almost have no time and no mood to work in such a way. Since the efficiency interaction and multi-choice, I incline to finish two projects at the same time. And I believe it will be more and more people's choice.
