With ever increasing advance in technology and science.various skills are in need to better adjust the sophisticated environment.thus,I definitely agree with the statement that college students should take basic science classes even they are not part of the field of the study and instances as follows supporting my view.

To begin with, There are no fields completely distinct from the rest .Anyone want to further understand their maior should grasp other relevant fields . Chemistry and biology have influenced each other so profoundly that produced countless historic scientific breakthrough in our life. Take a student studied in society science for example ,History is imperative for his learning and knowing another language well can make him understand important cases around the world.so trying to learn basic science classes will not simply widen your horizon but even help you comprehend your own major deeper.

Another reason deserved to be mentioned that the more expertise one hold the more opportunities he will succeed.A erudite can handle emergency with ease.while a common person may be trapped in a dilemma. A killful housekeeper probably cannot operate a software proficiently though continuous instruction,However the person with broad knowledge will settle such trouble just in a few seconds.In other words, Those who have accumulated multiple basic science knowledge can learn faster compared to some expertisers on certain subjects .And it is universally acknowledged that a person must keep learning to catch up the fast pace in the knowledge explosive times. Only with massive store information of different fields can we avoid being sifted out.

Nevertheless ,we have to admit that everyone want to learn more and to learn quickly.but it is impossible for any figure to master all fields considering each science has developed so sophisticated.A appropriate way is that trying best but never greed .
