Someone thinks that people work just because they need money to live. However, I don't think so, making money is only one reason why people have to work. There are some other reasons as follows.
   Working is kind of joy. By doing your favourite work, you will feel very comfortable. I have a friend who works in an IT corporation as a software engineer. He enjoys his work very much, because he finds computer programming very interesting. Sometimes he can sit in front of the computer, programming all day long without doing anything esle. He fully indulges in the world of programming without considering money which the job can bring him. I am sure even if he had a large a mount of money, he would still do this job, because he loves this job.
   Working can also make people feel satisfactory, because when we are working, we are serving the others, making the contribution to the society. There is an old man who is my neighbour. He used to work in the university as an English teacher and now he has retired for several years. Although he has retired, he never stopped working. There are many children in our community, he always help the children with their English learning without charge. For him, working itself is a way to contribute the society. The point is that what you can do for the society, but not what the society can give you.
   Working can enrich our life. What will the world be like if there is no work for us to do? In the morning, we get up and in the evening, we sleep. What do we do during the period that we are awake? The answer is nothing. Maybe you will find this kind of life good at the beginning but with the time elapses, you will definitely find your life boring. Because you have nothing to do. At that time, everyone will be eager to work to enrich his/her life.
   All in all, people don't work only for money. Work can bring us joy, satisfaction and enrich our lives. We work not only to make us alive but also to make our life more valuable.
