Obviously, as one of the greatest inventions in the 21st century, video camera has an imperative role to play in our daily life. However, the arbitrary claiming that video camera excels written documents is oversimplified.

It is manifest that video camera brings about numerous benefits. First of all, a video camera never let memorable moments sneak from life, for it can quickly and precisely capture current events and freeze picturesque scenery when we have a journey. Except that, the video documents only render simple facts without any synthesizing viewpoints which are quite important to reflect the contemporary understanding and attitude.

Written records carry original signature and handwriting, which act as a timeless reminder of people’s thinking process and temporary inner feeling, precisely like the extension of our brains. This is another round text will win without a parallel. Another conspicuous advantage of written record is its convenience. They are easy to modify, to check and to carry. I would be hard-pressed to image how terrible it would be if we converted a leaflet into a disc and watched it through a large device. There is nothing like sitting down with a book, the pages crisp and fresh, which makes you feel very comfortable. And such kind of feeling you will never get while watching video records.

Overall, without video camera, the world we live in will become much less colorful. Ironically, if we depend merely on video images, we will think like a machine lacking proper analysis and penetrating ideas. So video camera is the extension of our eyes. But only through written words can our brains be exercised.
