Are we now in the era of a contradict social where large amount of money are devoted to support the arts while striking numbers of people are facing lose of basic sustainable materials? As far as I’m concerned, ultimately, support on this issue is in some way relies on emotion and unproven assumptions.

Firstly, arts is a great contributions to the entire human beings, and inspire people who even faced with loss, pain and hunger. Days has seen the UN organized an
art competition for children to design a UN stamp on the theme “we an end poverty” to inspire the poor-striking country to struggle for a
better life. What’s more, this can also call for every one help ending the poverty. Secondly,
rather than urging the government financial support, as was suggested by some art-aid commenters , I would suggest instead that funding froma handful of bureaucrats , the art could largely depends on subsidies from some rich establishments or patrons, which could recognized as a “public funds”. When arts has depended on the government, it would always has the political tempting , but not the echo of the public. Thirdly, the boom of arts can also provide masses of job vacancy to solve social problem. Considering the Hollywood movies, the arts not only entertainment the public but also sparked a boon for the American company, which often supply job vacancy
and tax dollars, and can in return applied to education, job training ,and so forth.

In the final analysis, in most cases, a balance should be made between arts and other aspect, which means some of public sources, should be used to support the arts. Only in that way could we make a social without hunger, helpless and hapless.
