137. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? High schools should allow students to study the courses that students want to study. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion
High school is the school which provide the education for the teenagers who finish their primary school and aged from 12 to 18 years old. So the main purpose of the high school is still to provide basic knowledge to the students. So i don't think that the high school should allow students to study the courses that the students want to study. The reasons are as follows.
Firstly, when the school allows the students to choose the cources as the they will, it may occur this status that the students choose only the courses that they like but don't go to attend the courses that they don't like. What will happen then? The students may be good in the courses they like, but they know hardly anything about the courses they don't like. However, the high school is aim at providing basic knowledge to the teenages, so all the courses that the school provide to the teenages are all necessary. The students should learn all these courses and only in this way, can the students have a comprehensive development.
Secondly, some students may only take the courses which are easy to pass to get the credits which they need to graduate. And few students will attend the courses which are difficult for them to pass. In this way, the teaching resource is not balanced at all. In some hot courses, the students in class may be counted in hundreds and in some courses which receive little attention, the students may be counted in units. And this, causes a problem that should the teachers teach different number of student have the same income? It is not the teachers' problem, but is really a problem that the school have to face, although, all the teachers have to prepare for their lessons and teach the class.
Thirdly, I do think that the high school can learn somewhat from the university. The high school can set some courses as compulsory and some as elective courses. The compulsory courses provide the basic knowlege that the students have to know while the elective courses are open and the students are free to choose as they like.
To sum up, it is not a bad idea that the high school should allow the students to study courses that the students want to study. The point is how we treat it. Neither accept the idea completely, nor deny the idea completely, find a compromise way is the key.

Firstly, when the school allows the students to choose the cources as the they will, it may occur this status that the students choose only the courses that they like but don't go to attend the courses that they don't like. The students should learn all these courses and only in this way, can the students have a comprehensive development.多处语法错误.而且说理逻辑性不强,有循环论证的感觉.也没有举出有力的例子

Secondly, some students may only take the courses which are easy to pass to get the credits which they need to graduate. And few students will attend the courses which are difficult for them to pass. In this way, the teaching resource is not balanced at all. Thirdly, I do think that the high school can learn somewhat from the university. The high school can set some courses as compulsory and some as elective courses. The compulsory courses provide the basic knowlege that the students have to know while the elective courses are open and the students are free to choose as they like.这段根题目也没什么关系.像这种做法建议,在详细说理后,带上一两句,或者结尾点一下就可以了..

To sum up, it is not a bad idea that the high school should allow the students to study courses that the students want to study.你的观点到底是什么! The point is how we treat it. Neither accept the idea completely, nor deny the idea completely, find a compromise way is the key.

新写的第12次作业

The main purpose of the high school is still to provide basic knowledge to the students. So high schools cannot allow students to study the courses that students want to study. The reasons are as follows.
First, students will be blind to choose the courses. It it true that when high schools allow students to study the courses that students want to study, students will choose the courese they like and they will study well in the chosen courses, because they have interest in the courses they choose and interest is the best teacher of students. However, students may hardly know anything about the courses they don’t choose while students should learn comprehensive knowledge during their study in high schools. For example, a friend of mine whose interest was science, studied science very well and even won the 2nd prize of National Mathematics Olympics Competition and the 3rd prize of National Physics Olympics Competition. However, he had no interest in arts and never put his heart into arts. As his science was so good that a famous universities’ professor was very interest in him, and even tried to give him admission to the university. But as the professor knew the student’s arts was very poor, and the student had failed the English test for several times. My friend lost the opportunity to go to university without the entrance test of university. From then on, he tried his best to learn arts well. Finally, he entered a very famous university with high scores both in science and arts courses. So if we want to enter a good university, we need comprehensive development.
Second, students may take some courses which are easy to pass and few students will attend the courses which are difficult for them to pass. And in this way, students may not learn the courses they ought to study while the courses are difficult and important. Meanwhile, there will not be so much teaching resource if a very large number of students choose the courses which are easy to pass. It is impossible that a classroom which has the capacity of 100 people has to occpy more than 500 people.
To sum up, high schools should not allow students to study the courses that students want to study, because the basic courses should be taken as compulsory courses to make the students a comprehensive development.

110. Spend time alone or with friends?
Some people prefer to spend most of their time alone. Others like to be with friends most of the time. Do you prefer to spend your time alone or with friends? Use specific reasons to support your answer.

I would like to spend my time with my friends because I really enjoy the feeling with my friends other than with myself alone. The reasons are as follows.
First, spending with friends has more fun than spending alone. It is true that spending time alone may relax myself. However, I find that spending time with my friends can relax myself much faster than with myself alone, because I have more fun than alone. For example, after a week's hard work, I would like relax myself by the way of singing songs. When I sing songs, I will soon feel tired and thirsty if I sing alone. But if I sing songs with my friends together, I can sing more songs and gain more fun than I sing alone. Soon, I can recover myself and become energetic.
Second, friends can help me solve my problem. If I come across something difficult, and I find it difficult to deal with all by myself, I may turn to my friends for help. As we can see one's power is limited, while the group's power is unlimited. I used to try to solve a mathematic problem by myself alone. But the problem is so difficult that I can hardly solve it. I spend several hours solving this problem but in vain. Then I turn to my friends for help. Thanks to my friends' ideas, I soon solved the prolem that I was so happy.
Third, friends can help me feel better when I am sad. When something happens which makes me very depressed. I do not like

Compare and contrast learning by doing to learning by reading. In your opinion, which is better? Use specific examples to support your opinion?

It is never too old to learn. Yes, we have to learn things all through our lives. And here comes a problem, shall we learn our knowledge by doing or by reading? In my opinion, I prefer learning by reading.
It is true that learning by doing can enhance our expression. We can understand the things we learn much deeper. However, usually we don't have the facility for us to learn by doing and in this way, so learning by reading is better. I am a student whose major is physics, I have learnt physics for several years. During my study, I learnt a chapter about the quantum. It is hard to describe what the quantum really is, and you can only imagine what quantum is like. So learning by reading is the only way best way to learn the quantum.
Further more, we can not
