Many of the lesser-known languages in our world are faced with the danger of being extinct because a decreasing number of people speak them. Does the government should take measures to prevent them from being extinguished as the speaker's assertion? As far as I am concerned, it is not only the government's obligation to protect them but all of the citizen's responsibility.
As the high developed technology significantly changed people's lifestyle and the ever-increasing globalization, it is inevitably(e) and desirable to have a universal language to cope with the growing number of commercial affairs. Yet, this sort of revolution just invites risk and danger to many native languages which are possessed(呃,:O ,被动???belong to吧) a relatively small population. Some measures should be taken.
On the one hand, this changing situation in language is needed and necessary in many fields. In the area of business, which serves as a compelling(学习好词) example, there is an increasing number of multi-national companies and business. So, there should be a language as common criteria(语言做通用标准???我怎么觉着这块用carrier更好呢?)can be employed by all of the negotiators in different parts of the world, because so many languages are there in our world and it is sure to cause conflict and difficulty with dealing(没明白???it 指什么?后半句是什么意思?And, this universal language permeates in every aspect in our life, thus (it)readto risk of our dialect.
However, on the other hand, as language is a great and unique respect for any culture, the authority should take steps to protect their language to prevent it from being extinct. If a language is extinguished from a nation, then, it will be a great flaw of a culture, a sad extinction of a heritage, and, a decline of the identity of the civilians of this nation. So, the government, which is the leader of the whole society and its people, should make its uttermost to save their extinct language. For example, regard their own language as official language, and courage its citizens to speak the vernacular.
What is more, it is not only should(什么结构???)ur government take up this responsibility but every individual, such as socialists, linguists, and even philosophers, should do their most. As people live in a same society and share a same culture, they should have recognized the uniqueness and difference of their language which precisely represent their distinct culture. And it will make sense that speak their own language on daily life and daily work when cope with domestic affairs, and use universal language when deal with business with multi-national enterprise.
To sum up, it is possible that the ever-increasing developed globalization will eventually efface the lesser-known language, thus, it is the government along with its individuals to protect their distinct vernacular and to prevent it from being extinguished. The best solution is pay attention to the existence of their native language as well as learns the universal language to have a further development of their economy and policy.
