The artist creates many creations while the critic evalue the creation and lead the public can get more details and viewpoints on it. Considering the creation contribution to the world, it is obviously depends the artist. But for lasting value of it to the society, the effects of the critics should not be ignored. In that case, i agree with the point that creator gives the contribution to the creation, still, the crtics make the creation know by the public.

Above all, it is true that whether the creation gives the value to society mostly depends on how the creator creat it. A bad or boring idea of the artist may not make any sense, Comparing with that the great works are often have great influence on the world. Take the Status of Liberty for instance, it not only represent the spiritual of America since it was set up in New York, but also attract so many talented immigrates later. In the civil war, it calls for the people to liberate the black people from slave system. The creation gives the blief to the poor black people. However, the creator was very talented and catches the key thoughts to build the U.S. From other point of view, whether the creation was set up and accpeted really depends on the quality of the creation and the idea behinds it.

Secondly, the creation itself may not explain the details and enough meaning behind it. The public sometimes may feel confused about the art works, especially for those abstract or complex art works. Take the image created by Picaso, most people will feel puzzled unless they get enough introduction on it. Only using the materia supplied by the critics, the value of the creation can be available to the public. In addition, everyone has his own experiences and based knowledge, and they may lack of some kinds of these things when they enjoy the art works. These can really prevent the people to understand the converting meaning of the creator, while the crtics can help people to get it. Then the crtics can help people to evaluate the works of art and identify whether the work of art are valuable to enjoy.

Therefore, the crtics and the artist play the synergic contribution to the works. For the artists, to make an influential works, they have to be enough talented and put enough effects on it. And whether the creation are known to all depends on the crtics, they make the original works more convient to the public. Also, they help people to identify the works.
