While you are considering this offer I would also like to remind you of changes made by the US Government regarding international students. If you accept an offer from an university, this begins a process by which an I-20 form is generated and sent to you. It is illegal to receive and keep more than one I-20, but this was not enforced in the past. However, beginning this year the US Government has begun a comprehensive database, called SEAVIS, to track each and every international student in the US. When a university issues an I-20 it is logged in this database. So if you receive more than one I-20 this information will be known to the Goverment and when you apply for your visa at a US Consulate it is likely that it will be denied. So please weigh your acceptance decision carefully and do NOT accept offers of admission and financial from one university if you have already done so with another.

楼上的说话太片面。这件事本来就是楼主的不对，诚信是一个人最重要的品质之一，你的行为不但对你本人不利，也损害了国内申请者的声誉。我不认为美国政府在这件事上有什么错误！

4.15协议主要是保证学校能收到最好的学生，给拿到offer的同志时间上的约束，以免影响学校的注册工作。要想反悔就只能千方百计的作通学校的工作，这就看你的interpersonal skills。实在不行的话，劝你还是从了吧！

可是白字黑子的4.15协议呢，做不到为什么要有相关的规定，说什么4.15之前可以reverse? 当然如果顶楼是在4.15之后自然就不应该了。Anyway, 鱼和熊掌，从哪个，都是幸福。
