endemic 意为「(某地) 特有的；地方性的」，如一些植物或树木特有的疾病或某些病理状况，它们既不会增加也不会减少，但就是一直存在。
epidemic 意为「流行性的；传染的」，顾名思义，指的就是流行性传染病，它们在某一地区或小区迅速传染、蔓延，但可能在一段时间后就消失不见。
pandemic，则意为「大流行性的；蔓延于广大地区的」，它们传染或流行的范围可能是整个国家，一个或数个洲，甚至全世界都受到影响：Malnutrition is pandemic in the Horn of Africa, but this season starvation is epidemic there as well. (营养不良蔓延于整个非洲角，但本季当地饥饿或饿死的情况亦非常盛行)。

这三个单元过起来，还算轻松，比in- im-部分有特征得多。我拿了两天时间把前面几个list的单词重新过了一遍，本以为疏于复习的单词又会忘记很多，没想到本次背单词记忆率还是不错的。整理能达到60%，最初跟最近的几个单元达到70%以上。看来一定要多复习呀，一天也不能耽搁，不然就前功尽弃！
