The speaker contends that political decisions and activities concern about the demands of the individual, thus they will affect all aspects of people's lives who live within a given nation or area. The decisions they make or the activities they come up with are often relevant to people's daily lives, for the decisions and the activities serve as national tools or national machines to influence people. To some extent, personally, I agree with the above idea, and I am strongly in favor of this notion that the government should play the crucial role in determining some certain issues, some complex and tremendous problems, all of which have relevance with people's details. Nevertheless, considering the nation as a whole, rather than the previous opinion, I will put myself absolutely on the opposite side, that is, political decisions and activities sometimes, maybe all the time, think about the nation's benefit first. Under such situation, it is unnecessary to assert that each of the government’s steps should have something to do with people's lives.

To begin with, According to the statement, we can learn that it is a genuine fact that political decisions and activities do affect the whole of people's lives. Take china for example, all over the country, because of the large amount of population and the limit material resources, everyone struggles hard to obtain enough essential material to ensure the survival of themselves or their huge family. Whether to increase the price of rice or to decrease it really becomes a tough matter for The State Administration of Grain as well as a debatable trouble for the general people. From this point, we can conclude that the political decisions and activities will certainly determine people's lives, even more seriously, whether to die or to continue the rest of their lives. With the rapid economic growth, so, too, does the improvement of the china's rural area under the care of the appropriate political decisions and activities.

In large part as a consequence of the political decisions and activities, we should focus more accurately on a big scale to research this issue. The long human history has witnessed lots of tragedies, among which, hardly can we forget the world war one and the world war two. All these tragic war, whether big or small, transient or permanent, justice or evil, really have damaged the entire humanity. Although, despite we human from the innermost desire a safe environment to live in, however, the world is still not peaceful. Because it is the polity ignite the wars and light up countless conflicts between different parts and countries. Except we suffer a lot from what the government have done to themselves or the nation as a whole, totally, what the political decisions and activities think about is the benefit of decision-maker, that is, the government.

Although, it is unfortunate from some points of view that the major political decisions and activities have little to do with people, but we would better accept it as a real, meaningful fact. Some may hold that the government of this kind is useless. Whereas, in my point of view, only when a nation operate at a best situation can we increase the quality of lives. A fast going car, the engine is the government of the system is essential for the whole to function effectively; A computer, calculating at a high velocity, the CPU is the government of the system is vital for the whole to function efficiently; A person, tackling a troubling mathematics problem, the brain is the government of the system is significant for the whole to carry out the consequence perfectly. The government----the center part of a nation, their decisions and activities should think about the performance of themselves first, not the aspects of the people.

Political decisions and activities affect some aspects of people's daily lives. But also we should not hold that the government can meet all people's requests or influence every corner of the society. In order to accelerate the pace of the development, a nation's citizens have to deal with this complicated issue sincerely and so does the nation's leaders.
