The speaker claims that truly effective education can be achieved only when it is specifically designed to meet individual needs and interests of each student.I strongly agree with the speaker primarily because this contention accords with common sense and our educational experience.Besides,the reverse claim serves to overlook the requirements of individuals as well as social development.

To begin with,when it comes to the truly effective education,the essence of which at any level lies in the conception of the development of the individual self.Students' freedom to grow according to their own needs and interests is one of the most crucial aspects of the improvement.Einstein,one of the greatest scientist in twentith centry,once said:"Interest is the best teacher." If we cast a look back at the education in his life,we are able to realize what is more important for education.As a little boy in school,Einstein was not a good student as he was as a physicist,even was a stupid student in the eyes of his teacher.The chief reason is he had on interest in what the teacher taught in school.However,his uncle,an expert of mathematics and physics,told him many interesting examples of mathematic questions which aroused little Einstein's interest.After he entered universities,he also concentrated on his interest and was reluctant to study other mojors.Education,in this sense,should satisfy students'needs to keep the true efficiency.

In the second place,the more interesting students feel,the more passion they own for study.Without interest,students pay little attention to their study,without attention,how can we make sure that students will learn knowledge by heart?To illustrate this point,Celine Dion,famous for her amazing voice in the song---My heart will go on,dropped out school and learned more from society.As the most successful diva in show business,no one can deny the fact that her education as a singer is truely effective.Regard music as her whole life,she once said"I find nothing valuable in learning Chemistry unless learning it well can make me sing better."Providing that she continue her school education designed to all students,she may become a chemistry teacher in a high school.How ridiculous it seems to be.

Deep down,culturing different talents for society is one of the educational objects which play a vital role in the development of society and economics.While most of Chinsee students could receive higher education in China,we should not neglect the fact that all these so-called talents lack diversity which can help college students to distinguish themselves from other competitors.This can also explain the phenomenon of surplus of qualified personnels. As education does not aim at students' different needs,our students have no access to what they really interest in,and are inclined to receive knowledge passively.If so,they,lack of enthusiasm for their jobes,suffer suspicion from companies.What is more important is that such students as there are contribute little to our society for they lay heir abilities on wrong place.

However,encouraging the culture of interest does not equal to the assumption that school should design different courses for every students.After all,educational resources are limited.Students' interests are too many to be satisfied.On the other hand,basic subjects,such as simple principle of mathematics,physics and morality which are helpful for students' intelligence and personality,should be included in our education.

In sum,education should be designed to meet students' needs and interests.Not only does it benefit the development of students,but also it is significant for the healthy improvement of society. On the other hand,we should be aware that over emphasis on the interest-oriented education is not necessary for both students and society.

To begin with,the author fails to establish a causal relationship between the high comsumption of fish and the small number of people catching a cold.It is quite possible that other factors contribute to prevent colds.For example,maybe air in East Meria is so fresh that people there seldom catch a cold.In addition,the arguer fails to take into account the frequency people take exercise.Do people living in East Meria like doing exercise such as running,walking?If so,it is understandable that they visit the doctor only once or twice per year.Though people go to hospital rarely,it does not mean that people do not got sick.Maybe people are reluctant to go to hospital.Maybe visiting a doctor is expensive for them,and they would rather stay at home when they catch a cold.

What is more,even if eating lots of fish could prevent colds,the arguer draws a hasty conclusion that eating Lchthaid is equal to eating fish.In fact,no evidence is shown to demonstrate that Lchthaid contains all the components beneficial to prevent colds.Therefore,we must assume that Lchthaid is ineffective.Moreover,without data of scientific study,it is doubtful that lchthaid may has side effect which do harm for our health.

Additionally, even colds are the reason most frequently given for absence,the arguer cannot persuade me to believe it is true.In fact,colds,as we all know,may be the excuse most frequently used for absence.Without a detailed analysis of the reasons for absence in West Meria,it would be sheer folly to attribute the absence to colds.

In summary,this argument has several patent flaws which render it logically unpersuasive as it stands.To make it logically acceptable,the arguer would have to demonstrate that high consumption of fish can really prevent colds.Furthermore,we need more information regarding the reason for absence in West Meria.
