When we lie, our brains work hard to make sure we got the story right and face (come off as) truthful. Long force(Law enforcement official) try to (tap into that) effort. For example, polygraphs to (find out if) suspect’s telling the truth. But such stress test are bitable(beatable) and not missable(admissible) in court. Now comes a report that handwriting tests could be a comparta (competitor to the familiar) but not reliable lie detector. The study appears in the journal of (applied cognitive) psychology. Researchers at (Israel’s Haifa) University worked with 34 volunteers who were(wrote) truthful at fourth(and false) paragraphs on paper, use a wireless electronic pen and a pressure (sensitive) tip. A computer(computerized) system measure pressure and stroke direction both on the paper and (in) the air. Spatial measure, such as stroke (length, height and width) were also tracked. And scientist found significant difference on pressure and spatial measures in (deceptive) statements compared with the truth. The investigator says they need to (validate) the (initial) result and compare the technique with the polygraphs and other lie detection tools. But perhaps in the future, even a written (claim of innocence) can turn out to be affective(de facto) confession.

To do a job right, you need a right tool, even a chimp knows that. According to a study of American journal primatology, chimps(in the congo) use multiply tools to capture army ends(ants) .  You’ve probably seen (footage)of chimps using a stick to harvest honey (连读or) traps (termites). But what’s(when it’s) come to collecting ants, the (apes)are (all over the place)-sometimes using tools, other time going in barehanded. To invest these different techniques, the researchers spend almost 10 years in Congo, (filming) chimpanzee and collecting more than 1000 ant fishing tools. And they found the (nastier) the ant the more likely the apes to pick up the stick. Chimps that terror(tear) open his(nests)with their hands risk getting bitten and driving in success(insects) way. Instead, many chimps using a series of tools, one to poke a hole in the nest, another one to deep(dip) in to gather a few tasty dispersed ants(连读specimens). They even take the tools left behind other champs. Now, would a infinite numbers of chimpanzees using a infinite numbers of tools ever produce a（Louis- fourteen- style table and chairs?）It’s doubtful. But they’d probably catch an infinite number of ants.

But the scientific (expertise) also just made it possible, to look it(locate) remains of US navy (patrol boat) sank by German submarine in World War Two. The ship is the WP3 -89 which one(went) down about 20 miles off the coast of (Cape Hatter), North Carolinas at June 19th 1942. 6 sailors were killed in attack. The recorders found it in 300 feet of water, in (连读an area) call Graveyard of the (Atlantic). That region is the final resting place for more than 80 American, British and German vessels lost in the battle of the Atlantic. The discovery was made during a summer (archaeological) expedition to research and document (连读historically) significant World war two shipbreaks（shipwrecks）. The remains would be (surveyed), photographed and documented (non-invasively), as lost both(boats and) ships are considered as war graves. The researchers will also survey marine life that have found a home (among the ruins).
