6G：600+800+3.0 我是EE 准备11FALL 当时考完AW感觉写得很好啊而且和平时模考发挥差不多因为我决得A一直是我强项（考试时抽到的是水杨酸酯那篇写了三段主要的三点都写了而且语言和我平时风格差不多）然后I我写的是文字记录和纸笔记录的那篇我BODY写了四段分别从三个正+反（但实际还是正因为先提出反对我的理由再予以驳斥）说明纸笔记录的优势而且我想强调一点：：我的作文模板痕迹很少因为我平时练习时很注意不要用僵化的模板 PS：除了A里面固定的连接词哈。。。希望斑竹能帮我看下我最近真的快想爆了到底是复议还是放弃。。。。毕竟接近一个月的AW潜心准备我非常的不甘心

题目：ISSUE195 - "The goal of politics should not be the pursuit of an ideal, but rather the search for common ground and reasonable consensus."

In the tortuous development of our society, it is the government that gives citizens substantial credence and confidence toward their motherland. The goal of politics should seek for the common ground and reasonable consensus, when it comes to the pursuit of ideal, in my perspective, the pursuit of ideal is not mutually exclusive with the search for consensus.

Seeking the common ground and reasonable consensus is of great importance to the development of the society. Individuals are the most crucial element in every country, the final aim of the politics is to improve the general living condition of its citizens and guarantee the prosperous and secure of those populace. For instance, China, one of the fast developing countries in the contemporary life, has a wise and insightful government that gives the society trenchant and proper way to become truly independent and strong. One of the most famous leaders, Deng Xiaoping, it is him that bring forward a new policy-- one country, two systems. This kind of policy has solved the debate about how to settle down the issues in Hong Kong and Taiwan. In order to reach a common ground, Deng Xiaoping resolutely came up with this policy which is aimed at guaranteeing their suggestion of keeping the system they have already matured within those years. It is Deng Xiaoping who leads to the reasonable consensus, a consensus that has settled down the persistent problems in that era. After the policy was elicited, many people are in the position of this decision in that it may be the best compromise between China and Hong Kong as well as Taiwan. Consequently, politics should search for the common ground and reasonable consensus.

When it comes to the question that whether the politics should seek for an ideal or not, it may depend on how to define the critical word "ideal". If the ideal is defined as the certain ground and reasonable ambition, it is wise for politics to seek for the ideal. The ideal is just an goal that all the people are in demand of, however, the ideal may be cannot come into reality since the limitation from the politics itself or the other politics. Yet, any politics should have such an ambitious to pursue the ideal in the sense that it is the blueprint of our promising future, not only for our descendents but to the whole world. Gandhi is still renowned as hero in India; his great contribution has lead to the spring of India, although his ideal seemed so idealistic, he eventually made a great effort to his ideal. Were not his great effort and ambition, India will never as developing as it is now. Furthermore, his actions also inspire numerous generations; one of the famous elites, Martin Luther King, his fabulous speech <I have a dream> has restored credence of many populaces who supported the nonviolence movement. There are numerous elites which have searched the ideal and tend to facilitate the reform of the society.

If the ideal is defined as impractical goals, indeed, every politics should not seek for the ideal. This kind of ideal is not only idealistic, more importantly; it will threaten the well-being of its citizens. It goes against the purpose of the politics. Any government which is bland to their citizen's quality of life will pay heavy price. This illustration has drew back to the German, more exactly, the era when is in the power of Hitler. His ideal is so distinctive, that is, to dominate the whole world. Unfortunately, he neglected the most indispensible element of his country, his citizens. Ultimately, his ideal has vaporized. One may expect his doom in that the goal is the pursuit of totally impractical one. It went against the principle of the politics. Thus, politics should never set up such an impractical ideal.

To exhaust my topic, there is a France painting which can best illustrate it. In that painting, a bright red flag is held by a woman, whom the common are willing to follow. Without the common, a flag of ideal means nothing. Without the flag of ideal, the common suffer from being lost in the dim light. This is the goal of politics--to pursue the reasonable ideal which common ground would incline to follow.
题目：ARGUMENT208 - The following appeared in a memorandum from the planning department of an electric power company.

"Several recent surveys indicate that homeowners are increasingly eager to conserve energy and manufacturers are now marketing many home appliances, such as refrigerators and air conditioners, that are almost twice as energy-efficient as those sold a decade ago. Also, new technologies for better home insulation and passive solar heating are readily available to reduce the energy needed for home heating. Therefore, we anticipate that the total demand for electricity in our area will not increase, and may decline slightly. Since our three electric generating plants in operation for the past 20 years have always met our needs, construction of new generating plants should not be necessary."

By citing some evidence, the author arrives at the conclusion that there is no necessary to construct new generating plants and their electricity will decline slightly. Plausible it may be, yet, close scrutiny will betray some unwarranted assumptions as discussed below.

Primarily, the author fails to consider any possible increase situation in the need of the new generating plants. Without informing us the information and the expectation of the electricity in the future, it is entirely possible that there will have a booming number of population in their area, it may, in fact, be there are only 100 family in the area and the extent generating plants can afford to the consumption. Yet, there will increase to the number of 1000 in the future, then, it is highly possible that there will in immediately demand of the new generating plants. Also, with the booming number of the population, there will be more business company in their area since that they are incline to pursue some profits in the huge potential customers. If so, it is hard for the three electric generating plants to meet the demand of the booming requirement of the electricity in their area. Without considering these critical scenarios, it is unwise to make the conclusion that there will no necessary to construct new generating plants, the author should do profound research about the expectation with the potential increase in the electricity.

Additionally, will their electricity decrease slightly as the author assumes?  The process and result of the survey is open to doubt. Is this survey conducted in their area? Are those participants in their area? Are those participants representative to all the residents in the area?  Without these detail information, one may expect that this survey is about the information in other area, and their result cannot represent to the situation in the author's area in that there may be a huge difference between their lifestyle within different areas and different residents. It is entirely possible that the residents in the author's area are inclined to utilize the traditional home appliances which have lower energy-efficient than the area in the study, moreover, they may open the computer and light bulb, watch TV, and utilize the air-conditioner all the time, it is hard for them to save electricity as the area in the study. Granted that this study can represent the situation in the author's area, it is still groundless to draw the conclusion. It is highly possible that they will consume the electricity in other aspects, such as they may use the washing-conditioner all day long since they are the ones who are extremely concern their hygiene. If this is the case, their electricity will increase instead of decrease. If so, the author should render us valid evidence to convince us.

Overall, the argument lacks credibility and well-rounded consideration, before the conclusion is elicited, far more evidence should exerted to solidify it. Or, it would mislead the policy-maker of the electric power company and may potential arouse complaints from the citizens in their area.

题目：ISSUE48 - "The study of history places too much emphasis on individuals. The most significant events and trends in history were made possible not by the famous few, but by groups of people whose identities have long been forgotten."

Napoleon, Lincoln, Washington, these names immediately pop into our mind when one refers the French Revolution, Civil War, and Independence War. It is these famous few, more exactly, the heroes, which lead to their country to go through any critical mire, many people would question that how can we neglect the crucial groups of people which also make great effort to their country? In my perspective, these people cannot compare to the famous few in that it is them who make great contribution to the society.

It is these famous few who provide the necessary impetus to facilitate the reform of the history. Were not their trenchant analysis and insightful project to impel the success of progress in their society, their country will never be as developed as it is today. Roosevelt, one of the greatest presidents in the history of American, was renowned by numerous American in that it is his efforts that help America go through the Depression. Thanks to his New Deal, which not only helped America go through the chaos but also restored the credence and confidence of its citizens toward their motherland. It is his resolutely projection that propel the reform of American's history. Were not his great contribution, the American could hardly go through the chaos as quickly as it were. Roosevelt, the famous few, who renders American a satisfactory memory and tell us that his fame will never be faded with time passing by. Consequently, the famous few accelerate the reform of the history.

Emphasizing the specific individuals could render us role models that can be emulated. In such a fierce society, competition is just around the corner and we have to face challenge everyday. How could individuals to keep pace with others and never be tired of? The role models which could set up a fabulous example that we all have an ambitious power to conquer anything in order to emulate them. Beethoven was renowned by many students who are learning the piano. The ultimate goal of an ambitious child may be surpass Beethoven, then, he may devote much time and energy to play piano. Thanks to Beethoven, the child may not only learn his extreme enthusiasm to the music, but also the persistence into his interests. It is Beethoven that gives a child the unprecedentedly propulsion to surpass him. If there is not such a role model but only a group of masses which are all said to be genius, how could a child insist his playing without any suspicion and tiredness?  This kind of emphasizing can give us much great man which may potentially another "Beethoven". Thus, a specific individual can be viewed as role models to emulate.

Those who oppose the author may claim that if there were not the contribution of the masses, there could be any progress since they are the genuine conductor. Admittedly, no one can deny the fact that owing to their effort, many pressing issues can be settled down. However, if there has no such a famous few who give them insightful orientation to the right way, the masses would never achieve anything but merely the ambitious and conviction. Such as, Zhu geliang, one of the famous leaders in ancient China, had come up with many strategies to help his country to win much crucial battle and therefore the country has a fast development in that era. Indeed, the soldiers are the ones who face their enemy and win numerous campaign, however, if there is in absence of such an insightful famous few that orient the most efficient way to them, it is highly possible that they are just a group of mobs, it is hard for them to achieve anything, let alone the prosperity and security of their country. Hence, those famous few made greater contribution than the nameless masses.

The famous few, which are the reformer of a society and can be viewed as role models and give a profound influence on their offspring, should be given substantial emphasis rather than those groups of people.
