13. Many of the world's lesser-known languages are being lost as fewer and fewer people speak them. The governments of the countries in which these languages are spoken should act to prevent such languages from becoming extinct.
*13. 许多世界上鲜为人知的语言由于越来越少的人使用正处于消失的边缘。使用这些语言的国家应该采取措施防止这些语言绝迹。

全部支持态度:
提纲:1. :语言的定义----通过将字母,发音结合在某个社会团体中交流的工具(查字典) ,以及解释语言消失的原因----时代的发展社会的进步,越来越多人学习大语种,濒危语种经常不被使用就导致消失;

Is it necessary for the governments of the countries in which lesser-known languages are being lost take efficient acts in preventing such languages from becoming extinct? As we know, more and more languages stand at the brink of extinction due to the less population speaking. Therefore, I fundamentally agree with the statement because of the vital necessity and obligation to protect these languages.

First and foremost, language is defined as the words, the pronunciation, and the methods of combining them used and understood by a community. Based on the language, just from BC, ancient people can communicate with each other and spread their ideas specifically and accurately by saying some certain words instead of making body-language or gesture. And with the development of rapid society and the discovery of new continents, several languages become into the most popular ones in the world, like English, France, and Latin, etc. But on the other hand, many languages which were used much less frequently face with the problem of disappearance. Because of the wide spread of main languages, some lesser-known languages are being forgotten gradually from generation to generation as a result. So, there is no denying the fact that the extinction of lesser-known languages is coincidence with the objects regulation of the world’s development.

Furthermore, the reasons for the protection of such languages show clearly as below.

Firstly, language means a unique culture to a people, reflecting a sort of cultural diversity. What is more, as a vivid instrument of communication, language can also represent and transfer history, including information accumulated by previous generations and possibility of future development. Like Chinese, by studying interesting words and pronunciation in dialect, people can learn much about the literary quotation in the history. And so are other languages being in the world. Hence, if we ignore the disappearance of some lesser-known languages, not only does the world lose a language, but also we lose a big fortune of culture and history.

Secondly, a person will be more proud of the nation or region he belongs to if a people has its own language. It means that people can not be influenced by collision of changes in other languages and the native people have the rights to decide the direction of its own language’s developing. Moreover, if a minority of a whole nation loses its own language, it will bring lots of racial and cultural problems, such as the problem of union of spoken language and written language. Maybe such action will raise the separatists’ machination to depart the whole nation. As a result, only by protecting such languages can the whole world develop stably and harmoniously.

Finally, the importance of government in protecting disappearing language cannot be shadowed. Actually, the government plays a crucial role in the whole process of protection, including arranging the fees of protection and assigning specialists to burden such heavy weight. But on the other hand, the effect of government is too narrow when the government faces with such problems concerning about the especial civilization. For instance, the officials may not know very well about what they are protecting, perhaps they even lack the passion and interest in protecting. So, the participation of other groups from public is also essential and necessary. Without other groups’ help, we can undoubtedly claim that such protection would fail in the end and the lesser-known languages would disappear in the world.

To sum up, from the analysis made above, protecting the lesser-known languages is necessary and inevitable. Protection can help to keep culture and history, maintain a harmonious relationship between each people. What is more, in my views, only by combining both function of the governments and other groups can the whole society make the wisest decision in order to protect efficiently.
祝你幸福

个人感觉,你应该着墨说明为什么越来越少的人说小语种,甚至放弃它。比如是经济全球化,沟通趋同化,等等。黄色的部分我觉得不必要,对强调文章论点没有明显的支持或反对的观点

Firstly, language means a unique culture to a people, reflecting a sort of cultural diversity. What is more, as a vivid instrument of communication, language can also represent and transfer history, including information accumulated by previous generations and possibility of future development. Like Chinese, 注意你上面用的是such,所以这里举例子用全球说的人最多的语言为例是否合适?by studying interesting words and pronunciation in dialect, people can learn much about the literary quotation in the history. And so are other languages being in the world. 第一次改Issue 时间紧 改的比较简单 就注重思想了
说理说得很充分 不过如果举例论证 或者效果会更好
第一次Issue就600多字 佩服
