As the communication and contact in daily life is inevitable for everyone, there is always a debate on whether people should be loyal to others. As far as I am concerned, loyalty is not only necessary an indispensable element for communication between individuals, but also a virtue which could help gaining success for everyone. However, too loyal may lead to lost in life.

To begin with, loyalty is necessary for individuals and teams who want to achieve success. No one could survive all by himself in this highly developing society and the communication is an important part of everyone's life. When communicating with others, one should always be loyal that could be trust by others. Without loyalty, a political leader would lost support from public and as a result could not has his power last long. Even for ordinary individuals, without loyalty, one would lose trust from friends and therefore lose help and be lonely in daily life. Also, without loyalty, a team could not work effectively because the members could not cooperate with the teamwork. For example, the king of the basketball--Michel Jordan trusts only himself when he just begins his career in the team and as a consequence could be no one. However, when he realizes the importance of loyalty to his partners, he led his team to achieve extraordinary success which would be remembered by everyone in the world. Therefore, loyalty is an indispensable element for not only individuals but also teams.

What's more, loyalty is a virtue which was originated from our ancestors and should not be abandoned by people in modern times. As we all know the story from the Bible, it is the lost of loyalty that result in betray by Judas and lead to disasters to Jesus, which should be remembered by everyone who has belief. Loyalty is so valued by our ancestors and should also be valued as a virtue by modern people. Without loyalty, the world would be filled with lies and frauds and the well-being of human beings would be harmed seriously.

However, when one views the world with loyalty, he or she should always distinct with what is worth loyalty and should be loyal to, otherwise idolism and chauvinism would mislead individuals to a wrong way in life. For example, some solders of the Nazi Army were loyal to Hitler during the World War Two, but the fact is that they were guided to be cruel to public and abuse the power to govern public by violence. The loyalty of the solders make people suffer great disasters and could not live ordinary life. It is the lost of principle that make them did not know what is really worth trust and be loyal to. And as a consequence, loyalty is a destructive rather than a positive force in this case.

To sum up, loyalty is a virtue that should be valued not only between communications of individuals but also in teamwork because it has the power of leading to success. However, idolism and chauvinism would mislead individuals to a wrong way in life.
