When we talk about leadership, it seems that elder people have more experiences and are more respectable than young people. In fact, young people have demonstrated their ability of leading a big group such as a company even a country. Maybe the core of leadership is not age but the insight of boosting a group to a higher stage. In the light of this statement, in order to promote the welfare of a group, it seems reasonable to introduce new impetus by changing its leader every several years. In the realm of business, a good leader decides the prosperous fate of a company. However, not every company changes their managers frequently and whether a company needs a new leader largely depends on its practical situation. There are examples that some companies are managed by the same CEO for a long time while some companies change their leaders for several times in one year. Taking the Microsoft for example, Mr. Gates has taken over the group for several decades. During his time, the Microsoft has experienced a significant change and grown as the biggest software company in the world. Mr. Gates is often regards as a model of hard working person who often challenges himself and manages to satisfy users' diverse demands, which helps him keep the lead in this field. Otherwise, many tiny companies change their managers in one year even shorter. The reason is simple that these companies pursue high and swift return so that they often change their main business or productions when more professional managers are needed to replace the formers. Hence, some companies need to change their leaders for demand of new business directions, but some big companies may need those respectable managers who have insightful strategies to lead their companies in the right track for a long time.
In the field of education, it is acceptable that a leader who has strong background works very long in his position. To some extent, most schools need such a leader. Teachers in schools or educational institutions broadcast knowledge to students so that their fruitful experiences for years are very important. There is no exception for the leaders in schools. The leaders should be very familiar with the condition of education facilities, faculty composition and student background. Then the most suitable candidate is a student who had graduated from this school. In China, this is a prevailing phenomenon.
In the area of politics, the situation may be quite different. People always elect some people who can change the present society. But for a leader who stays in the same position too long, he usually loses his enthusiasm to bring innovation. What is worse, some seriously negative events may happen frequently such as corruptions. Hence, it is necessary to have a new leader every several years, probably 5 years or less.
To sum up, whether to need new leaders is determined case by case. Not all fields should change their leaders too often, because loyalty and experience are both critical characters for great leaders in some realms. So long as a leader can keep a highly effective management, we will not let him step down until he fails to do so.
这个文章的范文我看了几篇,从商业,政治,教育领域开始讨论的也不少。只是想和HSD讨论一下噢。。。我觉得你从商业领域来谈的时候,还把它分了层次,说有时对有时不对,有点没有论点。ETS的每道题正反观点都是成立的,重要的是写出自己的观点。这篇文章可以说是部分同意,但是在分领域以后再分情况讨论,这个就有点风险了。我看完你的文章,还是不知道我道义是不是应该5年换一下。与其体现自己的全方位思考,不如深入一方面讨论。仅仅是个人建议~~~ |
