The speaker asserts that it is how children are socialized today that determines the destiny of society but we have not learned how to make children sociable.Although I agree with the opinion that how children are socialized determines the destiny of society,on the balance,I tend to disagree with the fact that we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society.

Admittedly,how children are socialized today is so essential to the future of our society that we must pay enough attention to it when educating and raising them,because children are the hope of our society.How children are talktive,cooperative and whether they can express themselves well and get along well with others are included in the process of how children are socialzed.And if children are socaible enough to work with others,the whole team will become more and more productive.As a result,our society will surely be inpulsed.So we should pay attention to how the children are socialized.

However,to raise children who can help bring about a better society is a so complicated progress,which included many virtues such as leadership,honesty,ambition,dreams,intellegence and so on.We can take Gandhi as our first example.Gandhi is called "father of india" because he leaded indian people to pursue their independence and succeed at last.He was born in an upper class family who were against about the subversion of English government.But he had the dream of freedom and independence and he tried to make it come true.On the contrary,if he were socialized by the upper class,he couldn't lead people to fight for independence.Another example comes from Roosvelt which is one of the most famous presidents in US.When he was young he didn't like to talk with others and couldn't express himself well.But during the Great Depression he was intellegent and thoughtfull enough to make out the New Deal and pulled the whole American People out of the big crisis.From what have been discussed above we can find out that how children are socialized is not the only essential factors to help bring about a better society.

At last,we have seen what we have achieved in educating the people born in this half in 20th century,which may attest the fact that we have learned many effective ways in education.Nowadays,we have found so many effective solutions to the hard social problems and situations.Women now have achieve equal rights with men and there is a growing number of women in our government.Women tend to take part in the business which there were men only.The same things happen on as well as African Americans.Actually Obama is the first African American president and the former woman Scretary of State--Rice.We can see less and less begger in the streets and helpless people gain more from both the governments and other people.From only these facts we may draw a conclusion that our society are becoming better now.And the elite of our present society is the group of people who were born in this haif in 20th century.All these facts also turn out that we have learned many effective ways in education.

To sum up,how children are socilized today is important and can determine the detiny of society but other facts are also essential and we are turned out that we have learned some effective ways in education.So we can draw the conclusion that we should pay more and more attention in educatin and find out more factors that are essntial in educating children so that we can raise children who can actually help bring about a better society.
