（1）就目前来说，并不是所有人都有条件拥有VC，因此对一些人来说，纸笔记录仍然很重要
（2）纸笔记录条理清楚，且一目了然。即使有条件，人们在一些时候仍然使用纸笔记录，比如通常拍电影仍然需要剧本
（3）抽象的东西就不适合用VC记录，而文字就能表达。比如情感、思想


合：纸笔记录和VC各有优点劣势，人们应该根据不同情况选择性使用，提高办事效率和效果

The speaker claims that the video camera provides record of contemporary life accurately and convincingly, supposing that it has played a role of documentation more importantly than written records. I agree insofar as that video camera for recording has many advantages, while whether the importance of video camera has outweighed written records is worth considering. I would discuss this debate in following details.

To begin with, admittedly, video camera brings us into a brand new way for sharing much more fun, enjoyment and even sorrow of our quotidian life with each other. Through watching pictures, videos and listening sounds, audience would be accurately informed what happened exactly of the present, while the written records could not provide such vivid visible scene by sense. Just imagine how regretful it is that if we cannot watch the last competition between Wizard and Lakers for NBA 2009 final champion in TV, but only read the exciting situation in written words. Moreover, video camera would catch up and preserve any scene that we need immediately; by contrast, writing is usually much more hesitated. That might be the reason that why we are often receive the latest news by watching TV rather than reading newspaper. Thus, video camera does have many advantages for recording.

However, it does not mean that written records has less important function than video camera, let alone would be replaced by the camera. As it stands, many people has overlooked the basic fact that it is not everyone has an ability in financial support for possessing a high-tech digital camera, when they even may cannot afford the next lunch. Writing would be still the best way for them to record what happened daily. Furthermore, even assuming that people have money to buy advanced camera, they would prefer written words in paper. Due to the concrete description and well- organized line by line, playwright uses to write a movie script before the director begins to shoot the film. Additionally, there is something hardly to be recorded accurately by camera, while could be expressed through writing such as emotion, feeling, or method. We are most likely to learn the great methods or sensitive feeling of prominent writers like Mark Twain by reading their elegant written words. Therefore, there are also many advantages of written records.

Ultimately, comparing the both benefits and flaws of video camera and written records, we can more easily to make the conclusion that it depends on the different circumstances to determine whether the video camera or written records is more essential to us. Between video camera and written records, as the tool similarly, we should learn to decide which one is more appropriate in order to increase the working efficiency.

In sum, I do agree the former part of the speaker’s claim that video camera make the recording more accurately and convincingly in our life, while the latter part of the claim cannot be accepted. Because the two manners of recording have both advantages and disadvantages. We should learn to have an ability to determine which has more benefit for efficient work.
