When we talk about education, we may think about school. When we think about school, we may relate it to subject curriculums. And when we refer the main stream of courses in the school, we could only remind of the reasoning and logical ones. So in most people's mind, education is only to develop the students' capacity for reasoning and logical thinking. However, I totally agree with the statement that students should gain much more from an education like developing their own emotions.

Although to develop the students' capacity for rational and logical thinking is really important, education shouldn't pay less attention on the development of the students' emotions. Because emotions may stand for the students' characteristics and influence their future. As is known to all, anyone who takes the same education should be different in person. And all the education should take the responsibility to do is not only to teach the students knowledge but also let them explore their own emotions. Because to have one's own emotion is the only way to make people unique. Students who come from diverse places, have different backgrounds and hold distinct experiences may share the uniform education in the same school. How could they make themselves outstand if they don't have something uncommon? They have to explore their own emotions via the help of the education. After being guided by the education and having explored the very emotions, the students may find out what their real dreams are and then determine the orientations of their future life which is vital in a person's life. Maybe the student decides to become a teacher, then the emotion of tolerance and patience which he/she developed under the education will work when he/she starts the career. Maybe the student wants to be a political leader, then the emotion of being persuasive will do him/her a lot help. Maybe the students likes to take the job as a doctor, then the emotion of being cautious will make him/her successful. So it is really important to educate the students to explore their own emotions which may have great impact on their future.

Of course, we students are going to school not only to become a scientist or a doctor. We accept education also for developing our interests. Although the development of reasonable and logical thinking is crucial, how about our other interests like dance and music if the education only provide the main rational course but those which could help us explore our emotions. Thus, the education should teach the students to explore their own emotions so that it could cultivate both scientists and artists for our society ask for all kinds of people.

In conclusion, our life would become colorful if the school provide all kinds of education including reasoning and logical thinking and emotional development. The offspring who are well educated will easily flourish the society with more confidence.
