It is more important to use land for human need than to save land for endangered animals.

Is it more important to use land for human need than to save land for endangered animals? The speaker tends to say yes. However, in my opinion, both human need and the endangered animals should be considered properly.

Admittedly, with the development of human society, to use land for human need is of great importance. First of all, as is known to us all, the population of the world is increasing each year, thus, human beings will need more and more land to build houses to accommodate the population. Second, more and more express ways, railways are build to address the need of the development of the city. Therefore, it is significant to use land for human need.

However, it is improper to give human need priority over the need of endangered animals on the problem of land use because to satisfy the need of endangered animals is also quite important. Firstly, endangered animals are quite valuable for the researchers. For example, each kind of endangered animal possesses a unique gene data for the geneticist. Secondly, in the biology system, the extinction of an endangered animal will affect the food chain and thus do harm to other animals. Thus, the need of endangered animals should not be underestimated.

To sum up, both the need of our human kind and the need of endangered animals should be considered properly. While we are exploiting land for human beings, we should not neglect the need of the endangered animals, and a balance between the need of human beings and that of the endangered animals should be achieved.
