Modernization has updated everyday that people has no leisure to stay at one place,while tradition has its fadeless charm to attract people.However,tradtion and modernization are not incompatible,it has some balance between them.

People from diffenrent country may have different background of culture,they keep their own rituals,ethicals and customs.When one meet the big day of his/her own,majority will choose a tranditional way to spend it according to his/her own customs.For example,in wedding day,different culture will have different habbits.In most of the westen country most people of which believe in Catholic will hold their wedding in a church.In China,the brideness should be catch by the bride from her parents'family.A jew's wedding have to annouce their wedding to the world and annouce from each other before their own gods.However it is not conflict on modernization.Once the chinese bride have to hold by the bride himself to his home but now he can drive a car instead. Different from the past the bride and brideness could annouce their wedding in the web,if they can't have the condition to hold a wedding,they still  could annouce their wedding to the whole world and the god of love in their own heart.

Some of the tranditional customs may be a bible in one's heart,it holds the spirit,leaving a masquish of modernization,that is how they combine.Another way to have compatible in tradition and modernization is mixed them.It means using one way to traslate another.
There is so many excellet instances in that mixture.In every season it will be popular for a new style in apparel.Last season bring a Boximean wind,but this season will be the mid-age style.Also the Chinese dress is popular after the APEC convention.The mixed way is not only used in dress,but in the music world.Nowadays,the modern music style like pop music,jazz,R&B are sometimes mixed with the classical music.In China,there is some genius mixued pop music with the peiking opera.It is know to us that there is a fatastic movie which is also a classical opera.'The Phatom of the Opera' is the movie mixed the two style together,just like the voice of the phatom magicly combined the voice of majoy actress in the movie.

Therefore,in my opinion,both the traditrion and the modernization can be compatible.They can have a combine in people's life,also they can have a combine together.
