The aruer claims in this argument that incresed levels of melatonin before birth cause shyness during infancy and this shyness influence on later life according to a follow-up study in a group of 25 children from their infant's time to their teenager's.However,there are some flaws in this study.

The arguer fails to convince us that increased levels of melatonin is the derect reason caused the shyness.It is possible that the shyness caused by the circumstance the child grown up.If the children lived in a small village but not see much strager outside,he/she may feel shame unless the meet aquaitences.It is also possible that caused by the education he/she recieved during this year.The children who say their shamed is educated in a conversed way not easy to talk to others.Or there may be a frighten in one's growing way,so it lead to a sha
med attitude.It needs a second inqurement during the children's grow-up to click out other reasons.

Moreover,even the condition above is true,it is unconvincing to illustrate the season when the mother conceived them in early autumn caused the levels of melatonin although the melatonin would naturally increase in response to decreased daylight.It is highly possible when daylight is shorter and shorter as the deep-autumn and winter come closely,the levels of melatonin increases much higher than in early autumn.The conclusion and the fact is oppersite,so it need to be proved deeply.

Finally,even the condition above is being proved correctly,there is a wrong relection in the shyness from a infants grown up to teenager and the mild distress signs in the beginning of the study.If a mild distress sign reflect in one's infant's time when exposed to unfamiliar stimuli lead to shyness in one's later life,maybe a sereiouly reflection will cause more shyness.Perhaps the mild distress didn't  mean the shyness in that time but means the anger or the sentiment of a fiant.

To sum up,the arguer should provide precise study relationship between the melation increased and the shyness.And also he/she has to prove that the mild distress when exposed to unfamiliar simuni mean to a infant as a shyness sign when one grows up.
