3.因此,否定科学的贡献是武断的，我们应该看到它带来的好处，也应该看到它带来的问题，因为事物都有两面性；吸取教训，尽量避免这些问题。


正文:
The speaker suggests that technology brings about more problems than it solves ,and may do harm tothe quality of life.Although technology indeed creates many problems,the merits it bring to us are far more than that.So,I can hardly agree with the author's contention on the ground that numerous evidence can be found to illustrate that technology has benefited us tremendously in spite of some disadvantages, and I will discuss my point of view from several aspacts as follow.

To begin with,technology which represents a nation's civilization,has infact brought us a myriad of significant improvement in every realm of our lives.Simply making a comparison between nowadays' society and that of 1000 years before or even 50 years before will provides us with some definite concept.For example,computers emancipate us from the tedious calculation,which obviously saves our labor and time,and along with Internet ,it enable people from all parts of the world to communicate with each other ,which it is incredable just 50 years ago;Advanced medicines librate us from the trepidation of smallpox,plagues,pneumonia and so forth,all of which are deadly diseases 50 years;vehicles,such as cars,planes and the like take us where we want,which make the journey far more convenient and comfortable than that of past etc.How could one say that technology has damage the quality of life?Instead,we should be thankful to it and make good use of it as we did before.

Meanwhile,some ,the author included,may propose that technology ,to some extent,threatens our lives ,Such menaces as nuclear threats,biochemical weapons,pollutions,green-house effect and so on.Indeed,with the development of technology ,more and more utilities of nuclear power is expected,in addition to nuclear weapons,that means more nuclear stuff will be used ,which is a comparatively serious threat to people within the relative region.Besides,air pollution,water pollution and noise pollution are becoming more and more fierce nowadays.Admittedly ,there are some perplexities coming into being due to technical process and method,which may threaten or damage the quality of life if proper measures are not taked to cope with thiese problems.However, it is just groundless to say that Technology creates more problems than it solves.we should know that every coin has its two sides,which is the regulation every mundane must obey.

On balance,as an old saying goes :"Cannot see the wood for the trees"(一叶障目，不见泰山)，there are some problems owing to inappropriate technical methods and processes ,neverthless,we should not neglect the comparably advantages technology bring to us.Therefore,at the same time of developing technology ,we should also be aware of the negative aspacts and put proper limits and controls on them.
