Which kind of education could be called the truly effective one, the one which is designed to meet the individual needs and  interests of each student ,or the one which successfully satisfies the public needs of the nation and the requirements of the  practicality from the society? In my opinion, both of the two kinds play very important roles in a sound educational  system.In the other words, a truly effective education should keep a balance. What is more, it is better that the education  could serve not only the individuals and the nations, but also the human beings.

Education will be truly effective when it is designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. No one  could doubt that and it is the standards for every country to set their educational system. Most of the exsiting educational  system includes the primary schools, the middle schools, the high schools, the universities and other kinds of education-for  example, the special colleges just for some certain skills,such as cooking, car repairing, electronic utilities installation  and so on. I think the education provided in the primary schools obviously serve for the basic individual needs and provide  lots of opportunities to every student to develop their interests. You can get the basic knowlege about the history, literal  which satisfies your spirit. You can get the communication skills by taking part in social activities. Your teacher will tell  you how to survive outside once you get lost. All the knowlege and skills are necessary for individuals. The different  courses and clubs set in the middle schools and high schools let you know what your interest is and what you are good at.  Then you could choose your major in the university.And the special college provides the citizens more choices to live in the  society.

However, only to meet the individual needs and interests of each student is not enough to establish an effective education  system. Education should serve not only the individuals, but also the nations and the people. Nowadays, the development of  the society are faster and faster. We need more people who master the knowlege of management and are experienced in  technique. Under this background, more and more universities have establishes the management colleges and engineering  colleges to cultivate more MBA holders and engineers. The change of the education is made according to the social needs. The  society ask for more practical talents and the education serves it in time.

In addition, the effective education should give the students and the society long-term benifits. When it gives the students  the basic survival skills and abilities, it also should teach the students to analyze the short-term and long-term  developments. When it satisfy the social needs, it also should lead the development of the society to a healthy and lasting  road. How to deal with the relationship between we human beings and the nature? How to deal with the peace and the  development those two important issues in the modern world? An effective education can not ignore the topics mentioned above.

In a sum, the statement considers individual needs and interests of each student as the only standard to evaluate the  education is truly effecive or not. That is not logically reasonable. A effective education should satisfy individual needs  and interests. Additionally, it should contain more considerations, such of the development requirments of the nation and the  society. In a long-term sight, an effective education should pay attention to the roots of some reality problems.

In my opinion, both of the two kinds play very important roles in a sound（这一般是用于a sound reason/conclusion等较抽象的词，） educational  system. In the other words（In other words）, a truly effective education should keep a balance(此结构后多接between xx and xx). What is more, it is better that the education  could serve not only the individuals and the nations, but also the human beings.(不就是individual吗？)

Education will be truly effective when it is designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student（用同义词换用，如designed→arranged, individual→personal）. No one could doubt that(太绝对了吧，我就doubt) and it is the standards for every country to set their educational system(问题同前). The different  courses and clubs set in the middle schools and high schools let you know what your interest is and what you are good at.(这好像有点偏题，重点不是你知不知道你的兴趣是什么，而是通过满足兴趣教育怎么有效果了)  Then you could choose your major in the university. However, only to meet the individual needs and interests of each student is not enough to establish an effective education system.（这句话不就是跟第二段第一句矛盾的吗？前面说满足兴趣教育有效，后面有说只满足兴趣不够有效。应该换一种说法如满足学生需求兴趣的方法有利于教学，但教学不能只是满足需求兴趣） Education should serve not only the individuals, but also the（/） nations and the（/） people. An effective education can not ignore the topics mentioned above.
