这个是我的处女Issue, 用词句式都比较烂，举例什么的都很简单，修改的同志费心了哈。感觉是第一次作业，出的题目比较简单，是不是啊？
38. "In the age of television, reading books is not as important as it once was. People can learn as much by watching television as they can by reading books."


In the age of television, many people prefer watching TV to reading books. Admittedly, sometimes watching TV takes less time than reading books. Moreover, people can also learn much information in television as the TV programs are becoming increasingly interesting and substantial. However, reading books can never be taken place by watching television.

There is a large number of information which can't be obtained in television offered in books. As science develops quickly, the latest idea will be released in books very soon so that other experts in this field can discuss and demonstrate their own opinions to propel the prosperity of the discipline. Scholars and students can obtain this sort of knowledge only by reading books. TV, a media to public, will not give information to depth in all fields as it is unnecessary.

Even if the television programs provide all the information that can be found in books, reading books brings about other benefits that the television can't offer. When people are reading books, they are more likely to think about the problems or insight ideas behind the sentences. On the other hand, watching TV is a process of receiving information without thinking too much due to the quick change of the pictures. In addition, the knowledge in TV has been simplified by the expert. This is also why watching TV is much easier than reading books.

As is shown in a research conducted by an institute, children who like watching TV will have worse academic achievement in the future than children who do not. The main reason is that children who prefer watching TV separate themselves with peers, which lessens the time they spend in discussion with other children. It has been admitted by many scholars of pedagogy that communication is a brilliant way to increase knowledge. After children reading books, they are more likely to discuss problems of books, and they get more information from each other.

Another fact that can back my point is that so far there are no famous scholars or other experts in every field who learn by watching TV. Since the information provided by TV programs is limited and too easy, only by reading a good number of books in varied fields can they become somebody who is full of knowledge, and respected by others.

It is admitted that TV offers important news and necessary entertainment to everyone, but it is far from enough for one to fetch specific information from it. Additionally, watching TV makes people unwilling to think and get more ideas from the author. Consequently, they will not communicate with others, which also expands one's knowledge scope. Therefore, reading books is as important as before, and can not be taken place by watching television.

大家都认为写应试作文应该先摆论点，再写立场。
我认为你的逻辑是混乱的。
你一共写了两个论点： 1、读书获得的知识是看电视不能获得的。（2、5段）
2、看电视是有害的。（3、4段）
所以看起来是否有些混乱？
严格来讲，论点2是偏题的。换成：读书可以让小孩子懂得思考会不会好一点？
语言是慢慢积累的，我就不多说了哈，我自己也很菜。
