提纲：
1、历史事件与潮流是靠领袖与群众共同书写的。
2、领袖的作用在于提供inspiration, resources, and ideological guidance。模范作用需要学习，所以历史研究强调个人作用也是可取的，可以为后来的发展提供历史资料进行借鉴。eg:The Montgomery Bus Boycott.  (或者南美独立战争领袖圣马丁，以个人魅力以及解放黑奴等系列措施调动起群众的积极性，得以快速组织了远征军解放智利，为后续的独立运动提供了模板)
3、群众的作用在于促进历史事件的进程。eg:1810-1815年的墨西哥独立战争，广大人民群众踊跃参与，才使得伊达尔哥所率领的起义军很快增加到8万人进而能快速进逼墨西哥城，严重威胁到西班牙的殖民统治，为墨西哥的独立打下了坚实的基垫。
4、没有领袖这个核心人物的示范作用与方向、思想指导，群众容易分散，难以把所有人的智慧力量聚集在一起;没有群众的行动支持，领袖的指导作用便成了无水之鱼，历史事件的创造也就成了口头空谈.


It's true that the study of history focuses more on the famous few individuals than on the groups of people whose identities have long been forgotten,but for the most significant events and trends were recorded in history,which were usually made by the model of leaders and the strength of masses.

As more and more historic records show today,those famous individuals,who were starters or leaders in some events,offered spiritual backing and ideological guidance to masses movements.The Montgomery bus boycott,for instance,began in December 1955 as the individual act of defiance by Rosa Parks,an officer of the local NAACP chater. This movements provided a setting,in which Rosa'Jacobinical spirit that men should fight for equitable treatment of all citizens and ideological guidance that men should fight for the interests of the Black could blossom.The model's example incited the men to bravery,and pushed the masses movements for the black rights to a climax.Although the gains of Rosa's struggle were small compared with the gains blacks would later win,her fighting was important start to the boycott,which was a great movement fighting for civil rights.Further,the legacy of the Rosa' freedom struggle is not only idears about political strategies and racial destiny also about the ways of organizing communities.The Montgomery event illustrates the point that role of a leader would give a big impetus to the events in history.

In point of the the masses role which they played in the events was to accelerate the course of the events,which later were known as significant in history.Take the Mexican War of Independence of Resistance against Spain in 1810-1815 for example.Thanks to the masses took an active part in the wars,the idea of an uprising by the native and mixed-blood peasantry against wealthy Spanish land-owners and aristocrats by the leader Miguel Hidalgo could come true.At his call to army, the insurretionist increased to eight million rapidly and then advanced on Mexico City.It was the masses's rapid military offensive which seriously threaten the colonial domination of Spain that conquered a solid foundation for later independence war.Obviously,if without the unity and enterprise of the masses,Miguel Hidalgo's idear for independence would not succeed.

Simply put,without leaders,there would be lack of demonstrate and direction which leader model provide for.In that case,the significant events and trends would not be made because the masses were too decentralize to congregate all strength and wisdom.On the other hand,without masses whose identities have long been forgotten,the guide role of the leader would be like the fish without water because there were not masses action.In this instance,the significant events and trends would not be made either.Thus,while the significant necessitates the leader,the masses are equally important.The leader drives the events forward by offering spiritual backing while the masses make sure the spirit guide could come true.

1这个例子对我来说比较新,
2你例子占据的篇幅太多,例子写完就the example illustrates...就完了. 可以边写例子边论证.并且例子可以压缩下.毕竟不可以用几个事件就概括了全部的历史实践.
3,你最后段模仿ETS范文的形式写,写的还不错,但是毕竟这题目和那题还是不一样,你最后段完还是要总结下,你认为应该怎么样...不然你这篇文章感觉就是写 个人和大众谁创造了历史事件.但没有说到历史研究要不要去重视它的问题.而且我觉得你最后段应该不是说没有大众怎么样,要写如果历史学家没有研究大众,那将怎么样...


仅仅个人意见,仅供参考.例子写的比较新,看多了写那些大牛的例子,看看这个还是不错,呵呵~加油 :)
