Most people like other people to make decision for them, but other not. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

It is the mature of human determines whether people should make decisions themselves. Adults should take responsible to make decisions for them after they take helpful advice from parents or other relatives. Nevertheless, when they were children, parents should help them to make sound decisions.

In childhood, a person is usually unable to make a sound decision because he often lacks the experience and knowledge. Thus, the available suggestions from his parents are valuable and necessary, which can prevent him from making costly mistakes. Take it for example that after graduating from high school many young people have two options to directly enter the work force or go to university before finding jobs. A teenage has not worked before and never attended a university, and thus his knowledge in both areas is extremely limited. Here the parents should advise their children and ensure that he/she makes the right decision.

However, with aging, a person gradually studied and experienced much and consequently formed right and systematic ideas of others, society and self-value. Here, they should independently make sound decisions themselves and be responsible for corresponding results. Of course, it is also essential to ask for advice, especially from those having the relevant experience. Your parents, friends and others all take an active part in your decision-making process. For example, just after graduated from a university, you want to design a future career including which jobs are suitable for your education background, which maybe puzzled you thoroughly. Many people have experienced what you are now experience. Some suggestions are very beneficial from them who have graduated from your university and attended a company for several years. On the contrary, if a person makes a decision alone, it maybe harmed himself.

In all, no one could make decisions for others, although they maybe take an active part in the decision-making process. People should gain the confidence and learn to make mature decisions of his own in the future by studying and experiencing.
