TOPIC: ISSUE48 - "The study of history places too much emphasis on individuals. The most significant events and trends in history were made possible not by the famous few, but by groups of people whose identities have long been forgotten."

提纲：1：提出自己的观点，历史是由个人与集体共同决定的。
       2：由于个人有特殊的才能，有些历史性的成果只能由他们完成，历史应该记住他们。
       3：个人的成果有很多是来自前人呕心沥血的积累。这段主要说明个人要依靠其他人，并为下一段做铺垫
       4：在很多场合上更多的是需要集体，因为个人的力量太弱。如法国大革命，马刺扫骑士。
      5：总结，历史应该在个人与集体中找到平衡从而使社会更好。

Whether our history is progressed by the individual or the groups of people? The speaker claims that too much emphasis is put on those famous individual of the history and the groups of the people are forgotten. However, in retrospect of our history river, we can get the answer that they are all important to our history, which are determined by the individual and the groups of people at the same time.

Admittedly, many ideas and theories are made by the individual who attribute most greatness to history due to their unmatchable talent. Without them, the world will miss many things that are important to our human being. As we all know, some theories that the contemporary can't understand because of the limited knowledge can only discovered by the individuals, who have the extraordinarily potential. Here is a good example for Einstein, who discovered the Theory of Relatively, at that time, only 10 persons in the world could understand the theory. Only the Einstein who has the extraordinary intelligence could discover this famous theory. If there is no Einstein in the history, we'll lose a strong implement to explore the universe. Our human being could be so prosperity just because of them, so we should remember them for ever.

In addition, the individuals make many discoveries from many experiments and data, which are always accumulated by our predecessor. As the Newton once said (and I paraphrase): if I can see far, because I stand on the shoulder of the giant. Because the essence of the nature always hides behind the complex things, many experiment data need enough time, maybe ten years or hundred years, to be got. Then a talent succeeds in concluding a theory from these data on one day of the history. Halley, a famous astronomy, predicted that the Halley comet's period is 76 years after thoroughly comparing several comet observation record accumulated by others. So scientists can make oblivious progress from the other people.

However, the history shouldn’t overlook the groups of people who were in the shadow of history, on the contrary, we should remember them, because our history needs the collaboration and they also reflect the exact thoughts, believes and wishes of their class. Unless we work together, a people can do little things by himself whose ability is limited compared with the collectivity. For example, The France Revolution victory are the result of the people, who work together to overturn the government. In sports, we also need cooperation by which the San Antonio Spurs defeats the Cleveland Cavaliers to win the NBA Finals this year. The stunning victory is the triumph of the teamwork over talent and collaboration celebrity, so the glory belongs to the San Antonio not the individual. Consequences, the groups of people are also the heroes of the history.

So we have to call for balance between the individual and the groups of people. First, the individual should try their best to develop themselves to make more discovery. Then every individual should work together to make more progress. If we do so, our society will fraught with more progress and our history should remember them.
