提纲：
Position: Traditional teacher-centered educational system ignores students’ individual needs and interests. So of course it is the most effective way to specifically design education to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. However, it’s a bit unrealistic to meet this destination, for there are so many students with distinct attitudes and the educational resources are limited. Besides, some students may have unreasonable desires which will result in chaos in educational process.
1. Illustrate the purpose and function of education. Traditional educational system.
2. Mostly it will be truly effective to design education to meet every students’ needs and interests.
3. However, limited educational resources means it’s quite difficult to meet so many students’ needs. In addition, some students may have unreasonable desire which would cause chaos in educational process.

While I mostly agree with the issue that education will be effective if it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each other, there lie some problems and limits behind it.

Firstly, I admit that design our education to meet individual needs will be quite effective in two aspects: theories and application, which are, according to my understanding, two main purposes of education. One of the functions of education is to convey knowledge and experiences to students, which mainly aim to create knowledge and accumulate experiences in turn to complete human knowledge system. For these students, they may have distinct and creative ideas and interests. If the education system can provide them with sufficient qualification and facilities, it is no doubt will help these students to develop their ideas better, which may result in marvelous achievements. On the other hand, schools also train students to adapt the rapid changing society, which concerns special abilities such as communication capabilities, competence of dealing with pressure in face of intense competitions and abilities to corporate with others. Due to these more and more rigid request for young people newly heading for society, they have no choice but hope to gain more skills and competences from educational systems. So it will highlight the graduates who have more specific qualities that are able to be gained from education specifically designed for them in the job market.

Under the traditional education system, most schools just set the same courses for all the students, regardless their distinct needs and interests. Studying in this atmosphere, all the students are treated as people have the same ideas, the same interests and even the same ability, which of course does much harm to them. when the students are forced to learn something they are not interests while their true origin needs and thoughts are constrained, their creation ability and innovation capability will vanish gradually. Fortunately, this is changing. Two years ago my curricula are all appointed by the system, many of which I was not interested at all. But now I can select any curriculum opened to us including art, literature, and history. I think this is really an advanced elevation.

Dispite the advantages mentioned above, there indeed lie some problems and difficulties to reach the destination. First of all, along with the popularization of education, more and more young people are able to enter colleges. Nevertheless, the educational sources in schools are not increasing at the same time. It is no doubt an immense challenge for schools that so many students with their own distinct needs have to share so limited sources, especially in the developing countries like China and India. Besides, in order to satisfy the needs of every students faculties have to improve their extra abilities which puts more pressure on themselves. In addition, some students may have unreasonable needs which will cause chaos in the teaching process which we can not satisfy.

All in all, it indeed will improve the educational efficient if we can satisfy needs and interests of each students. But to some extent it is not so easy to reach the destination and there still lie some problems and defects in it. We can not simply decide whether this is the only way to make our education be truly effective or not.
