With the development of modern technique, the ecology, the common place where human beings and other animals and plants live together, has faced the problem of being damaged. This problem is not confined to where human's activities are frequent, but also the places extremely remote. As a consequence, government and the public should do their best to preserve these areas, even though these areas are accessible to only a few people.

First of all, the environmental preservation has been faced problems of two aspects: the prevention of human being's destroy and the natural disasters. The first one is due to the human's activity. From ancient times, the catching and killing of wild animals made a large amount of species of animals extinct. Especially after the Industrialization, with the rapid growth of population and the development of industrial productions, environmental problems are more and more serious. The latter one is due to the natural power, such as hurricane, flood, storm, and so forth, which has enough force to damage the natural itself.

But does it to say that we do not have the responsibility to preserve the natural actively, if we do not destroy the environment delicately? The answer is yes. I concede that the ecology has the ability of self-recovery to a certain extent, but along with the activities of human being, the influence has already extended to the remote areas. For example, some detrimental gas expelled from industrial products has expanded to the space of South Pole, and caused the damage in the ozone layer, which is threatening the wild animals there. So it is a burning issue that we have to take actions as soon as possible to preserve wilderness areas even though these areas are extremely remote.

The manners of preservation are not confined to merely observation and protection. There are several other methods, for example, now a lot of national preservation zones have been built in the worldwide scope. Governments and scientists use this approach to prevent illegally catching and killing animals or lumbering, so as to preserve the ecological balance of these treasure natural resources. There are also some scientists bring the young animals of those species in danger of extinction to the library, taking the utmost care and feeding them up. When they have grown up, they free them back to the wilderness area again.

There have many organizations and scientists devote themselves to these environmental preservation tasks spontaneously in the worldwide scope. However, without the necessary political and financial support from government, these tasks cannot have progress significantly. So the government of every nation should build some funds and make appropriations for these environmental organizations and tasks annually, or enforce relative laws and regulations to ensure such actions as environmental preservation carried out smoothly.

To sum up, the ecology is so important to all the animals and flora on the earth that it cannot pay too much emphasize on the preservation of it. It is the task of all the human beings, which needs not only several scientists who concern this issue, but also the support of government and the whole public.
