With the startling advancement of technology and science, education has never played such significant role ever before. (这句话应该怎么说呀). Almost every developed country grants a majority of national revenue into education. Who should be responsible for education? Local schools，parents or communities? In my point of view, each of them should assume the obligations while schools have the necessity to take on the primary part of duty.

When it comes to education, needless to say schools come into our minds immediately. Common sense tells us the sole objective for school is to diminish the number of illiterates and ignoramus--that is to enlighten common people. There are three aspects to reflect the inherent characters of school which are indispensable for education. First and foremost, schools own professional educators who receive systematic training mechanism. Only after imparted sufficient professional knowledge of education, can one be employable to become a teacher. That is why common parents should not be suitable to educate their children. Second, due to the abundant resource coming from different realms of society, local schools possess advanced educational equipments to facilitate learners to attain knowledge either from library or in the laboratory. No where can be more appropriate for learning. Third, the overall circumstance can stimulate students to study hard because in schools many peers learning together encourage other students to learn and cooperate with each other when meeting difficulties in academic fields. No one can discuss questions with others as he or she studies alone, let alone helping each other. From the three peculiar aspects mentioned above, we can see schools are the most appropriate place for study.

While admitting schools are necessity, the role of parents can not be overlooked as well. Hundred of years ago, a famous educator points out when adding proper function of parents to schools, the effects of education will dramatically increase. Until in the modern times, the significances of parents still remain no decrease. It is doubtless that parents are the unique role for their children for they put much more attention into their children than others do. No substitutes can take up the same high position as their children do. Therefore, they understand the special needs of their children including which kind of education is most adaptable for them deeply. When parents inform schools the actual needs of their children, schools choose the best methods to teach their children and parents also have the authority to supervise the educational effects of schools. Meanwhile they own the obligation to point out the disadvantages of schools as soon as they find schools operating in the wrong-headed direction.

While one of the final goals of education is to prepare cultured citizens to function well in the society, society at the same time have the obligation to help educators to cultivate students. What should society do is to establish both moral standards and behavioral norms for adolescents. What youngsters see in daily life will certainly affect them unconsciously.   As a result, society should set up favorable surroundings for students who are immature to resist the adverse influence from outsides.

In the final analysis, education is of great significance so that it needs intensive attention from not only local schools but also parents and society. Without any part of three, education could not work perfectly as our expectations.
