提纲:
B1 竞争的重要
B2 合作的重要
B3 竞争和合作缺一不可
Ever existed is the controversy about the roles that the spirits of competition and cooperation play in every respect of the society, and this disagreement grows with the proportion of the ever-increasing complexity of interdependent elements of the society. As far as I am concerned, I fundamentally agree with the author's view, which lend more weigh to the role of the cooperation. However, rather than any bias, I would distribute the equal emphasis on both sides.
The spirit of competition, the desire to be outstanding among the rest, is the very virtue we have long persisted to survive and strive ourselves. From the ancient time when we are only the member of the kingdom of animals, it is the sense of competition that inspires us to take up more space and food to flourish ourselves. Till now, the era of information and ever-changing, it is still the mind of competition that stimulate us to adapt the rapid-shift environment and make effort to be elicit from others. In this sense, the role that the spirit of competition has ever play is to preclude the laziness and cowardice and at the same time exploit the appetency to be advanced. Facing the adversity in the career and the obstacles and backdraws in the process, this virtue, like a balm for the suffering and stimulus for the continuous persist, make the way to success more promising. Therefore, there is no wonder why the one who is equipped with this virtue is on the half way to the future achievement.
Somewhat contrary to the spirit of competition, the sense of cooperation is not the avoid tendency to be outstanding but the tendency not to be too far from others. To be cooperative, the first thing in need is learn to stay with others actively: to communicate, to discuss, to share opinions and to make effort together for the common goals. Limited is the individual knowledge and skills while omnipotent is that of the group. In this point of view, by adding much width and depth to the sum of abilities of individuals in a group, the sense of cooperation propel the wheel of the progress to rotate more smoothly.
Nevertheless, only realizing the importance of both sides is hardly enough. In today's world full of challenges, it is of vital significance to handle the two sides fluently to serve our purpose. The combination of the two must be applied in every sector of our dailylife. In the field of sports, the athlete must bear in mind that his or her success only lies in the best record in the race, to achieve this, he or she must practice more, even in an ascetic way, to surpass other athletes in the speed, or the strength, or the celerity. In the process trying to be elicit from others, he or she should also be cooperative: listening to suggestions and receiving the right help may enhance the efficiency of the practice to success. Similar is the things in the case of industry. The most eminent entrepreneurs are always those who can be both competitive to deal with the colleagues when needed and cooperative with subordinates in the right case. To master the art of balance between competition and cooperation is the key factor particularly in the politics. For instance, the best way for candidate of the president to attract the potential votes is that, on one hand, acting in a competitive way to defeat the other side, and on the other hand, playing in a cooperative way to make self-charming.
In sum, while both the sense of competition and cooperation have its own unneglectable role in everyday life, they are not oranges and apples, they are mates-joins, and homologous and inseparable. Any actions that force competition itself and cooperation itself are doomed to fade away into mere shadows. In the final analysis, to survive and strive in this challenging world, only union of the two will preserve the goals in reality.
