argument2 :The following appeared in a letter sent by a committee of homeowners from the Deerhaven Acres to all homeowners in Deerhaven Acres.
"Seven years ago, homeowners in nearby Brookville community adopted a set of restrictions on how the community's yards should be landscaped and what colors the exteriors of homes should be painted. Since then, average property values have tripled in Brookville. In order to raise property values in Deerhaven Acres, we should adopt our own set of restrictions on landscaping and housepainting."

Syllabus:
1.其他地区地价的提高可能不仅仅是应为外观,还有可能是因为交通,房屋功能等不同造成的。
2.7年间可能发生了很多变化,比如交通商业区社区内部其他设施都提高了
3. arguer还应该提供相关的证据来说明两地的无差异性,更多的证据来证明居民不会反对社区的统一行动
In this argument, the arguer tend to view that the property values of Deerhaven Acres will raise with adopting their set of restrictions on landscaping and housepainting as Brookville community nearby does. It seems reasonable at first glance, however, careful scrutiny of the assumption we can find that the argument relies on a series of unproven assumptions and is therefore unconvincing as it stands.


The major problem of this argument is that it lacks evidences to prove that the landscaping and housepainting are the only factors leading to the rise property of Brookville. Although the two communities are near in location, whether other factors are the similar also needs to be serious considered. It’s likely that the condition of transportation and traffic are not in a level. The specific functions of the houses determine the buyers’ decisions as well as the property of the houses. Moreover, the environment around the community is an important factor that we should not fail take into account. All the factors above may influence much on the properties of houses.

Another flaw that weakens this argument is that Brookville community adopted its restrictions seven years ago, when the relevant conditions varied much from now. Great changes may have taken place in the Brookville as well as Deerhaven during the past seven years. The business center which brings up the average properties may become bigger and more prosperous; besides, the equipments and security go up to a higher level could lead to its rise as well. Thus the arguer assumes the rises of Brookville community are due to restricting the landscaping and housepainting is one handed.

To strengthen the argument the speaker should provide more evidences of the similarity of the two communities, and clear evidences that time is not the factor to influence the properties. Even with this additional evidence, in order to properly evaluate the argument, I would need to know the feedbacks of the residents that they will not reject the same painting and landscaping.

写得不错哟,我看了,比我说得清楚多了!嗯,交作业也早,表扬一个。不过晚上也不要熬得太晚了的说!注意身体!身体是gre的本钱!

Thus the arguer assumes the rises of Brookville community are due to restricting the landscaping and housepainting is one handed.不是很明白这段的结构,按照第一句话的理解,应该是要说七年前与现在的不同,可是说到后来变成了七年中B也受到其他因素的影响。我认为之前的那一段就已经在说影响房价的因子了,所以B七年中受的影响似乎应该对导致前的那一段去,而这段主要讲七年前和现在客观条件和人们主观取向的不同。

To strengthen the argument the speaker should provide more evidences of the similarity of the two communities, and clear evidences that time is not the factor to influence the properties不是很明白这里的意思,无论如何房价也是随着时间上涨的吧,不可能证明房价不随时间变化的. Even with this additional evidence, in order to properly evaluate the argument, I最好不要用I,变成被动句吧 would need to know the feedbacks of the residents that they will not reject the same painting and landscaping.

语法错误还是有点多
另外在论述问题的时候,有一种把不同的问题穿插到一起的感觉
其实这篇A的逻辑还是很简单的:
B以前做了某事+B之后得到的好处=B以前做的事使它得到了好处=D现在做同样的事也能得到同样的好处
那么首先要说明B得到的好处并非由于B之前做的那件事,再让步说明即使B以前是得到了好处的,D现在做也不一定能得到好处,就可以了

自己写的时候遇到的问题被你看了个透:)
关于第三段确实应该从现在与7年前的客观条件和人们的主观取向不同来说,而我说的原因确实应该放在前一段~

再弱弱的问一句1.similarity后面介词用什么?2.第一段中careful scrutiny of the assumption 哪儿不对?语法...

没有名词+句子的用法呢,无论怎样用个介词或者副词什么的吧

To strengthen the argument the speaker should provide more evidences of the similarity of some properties between the two communities, and clear evidences that whether Brookville community will benefit as much as Daveen if it unify the appearance of the houses. Even with this additional evidence, in order to properly evaluate the argument, the feedbacks of the residents that they will not reject the same painting and landscaping are needed.
