Issue51 "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student." 教育类 频率151
教育只有被专门设计来满足每一个学生个人需求和兴趣的时候才是真正有效率的。

V3: Limited educational resources can not afford to satisfy every student.
E1: The amount of educational investment is finite.
E2: In the other hand, the needs and interests of students are countless.
Nowadays, education plays a crucial role in society for its increasing function. A myriad of(是无数的,例如星星,说很多人用这个不太合适吧) people are concerned with the relation between the effect of (on)
education and the individual needs and interests of students. The author claims that only if personal requirements and hobbies(hobbies和interests还是有所区别的,hobby:An activity or interest pursued outside one's regular occupation and engaged in primarily for pleasure.业余爱好:通常为了个人愉快而在正规职业之外进行的活动或兴趣) of each student are fulfilled, education is truly efficient. It makes many people take it for granted that there have marked advantages to take personal characteristic into consideration during designing education, however, pay overmuch attention to every student ultimately does harm to education.
The reason for my fundamental agreement with the speaker is that considering personalities in the education has many advantages. In the first place, students enjoy their interested courses. For instance, students, who enjoy drawing, are exciting(excited, exciting和excited不同,前者用于物exciting story后者用于人) in the painting classes. They are interested in teachers' words(lecture会不会好些) about the theories, the principles and the skills which make them draw a wonderful landscape. Surely, they strive hard to make greater progress when they do the painting homework. Consequently, interests drive students forward. In the second place, it is necessary to cultivate diverse students for social development. Suppose that all students select the same major and pursue the same calling in the future, it will be a tragedy of education and even a disaster for human beings. Students should be encouraged to develop their own interests on which they would like to freely select majors and careers.
Have recognized that the importance of meet (meeting) the individual needs and interests of each student in education, nevertheless students usually do not know what they truly need and enjoy. Facing many fascinating things, students, more or less childish, can not distinguish between right and wrong (应该是distinguish right from wrong). Students habitually pursue fresh and popular things which may be harmful to their growth. For example, video games on PlayStation2, made by Sony, may be the most popular entertainment for the students. Playing these games in front of televisions does harm to students' eyes, wastes their time, and has a bad influence on their study. Assuming that education considers this interest during designing courses, that teachers take courses to train students how to play video games. As a result, campus is not a learning palace but an amusement park. In addition, students should learn primary courses whether they enjoy or not. Students can learn fundamental theories and principles from the basic classes which are beneficial and necessary to their future, such as mathematics, physics, and so on. Sometimes students do not enjoy these basic courses which are more or less tedious for them. To illustrate, a student does not like studying mathematics. If education takes this factor into consideration, the student can skip the mathematics class. Consequently, the student cannot purchase anything because of his ignorance in math. In this case, education should pay little attention to the unreasonable needs of students.
Further more, limited educational resources cannot afford to satisfy every student. Education should utilize the finite fund. To begin with, the amount of educational investment is limited. Most campuses depend on the governmental investment and the private support. Governments have to develop many projects other than education while the private support is floating. As a result, campus has no extra fund to hire much more teachers. On the other hand, the needs and interests of students are countless. If campus fulfills the needs and interests of each student (有时可以换成each student ’s needs and interests), it requires plenty of staff and more capital. As a former American president, Franklin Roosevelt once said (and I paraphrase):"(英文里said后面用“, ”而不是“: ”)No country, however rich, can afford the waste of its human resources."(这句话是说不要浪费资源,满足学生的需求是浪费资源么?) When teachers are not enough to satisfy every student, the most common needs of all students should be fulfilled.
Simply put, I hope it has been shown that(感觉这半句没必要写) although taking the individual needs and interest into account has its own advantages, it is not a wise and feasible method to consider the condition of every student(这个句子不简洁every student’s condition). To have a better(effective贴题,我认为,呵呵) education, it calls for a balance between fulfilling the individual requirements and considering the most common needs.
lastpearl思路很清晰,总体来说写的不错啊,向你学习,遣词造句方面还需加强。
