People have to face choices every day, from the minimal one what to eat in the diner to important decision about what career we should engage in. The truth is too many choices bother us every minute making us feel headache and energy consuming. Why we still hear that some people complain about absence of choice? Do they really have no choice to choose in so many conditions? In my opinion, there are two possibilities about their complaining and the very truth is they have made some decisions already.

The first aspect is that some specifics have been limited for the macroscopic choice has been made. The most significant example is that students complain about have no choice but work hard to get good result in exam. In their mind, it is unfair for them to give up the choice of playing and numerous leisure activities. No choice but study? They also have chance to choose working as labors or farmers only spend the labor force in their work. Most of them feel that it is better for them study more knowledge before taking a job, so they choose going on study at the very beginning. Once they make a decision on choosing study as their duty at this period, to get the better result for their own choice, it is the duty of them working hard no matter intelligent students or doltish students. Otherwise, the energy they spend in this work is unworthy. Therefore, the choosing has been made not the absence of choice.

Another aspect about the complain is the absence of the best choice in the mind, but not has no choice. Sometimes complains are explained by the critical people, especially on the conditions related to the profit of the kickers. Such as choosing a commodity to buy or choosing a chairman from several candidates. When you hear “I can not make a decision about choosing which brand of television, because there is absence of choice!” it is obvious that some choices can be chosen but not have the best one. Some of them may have better color than others but worse voice. Some of them may be cheaper but not have so many functions. In another word, at last one still can not make the best decision but only a better decision. But this condition can not be include in absence decision.

For these reasons, it almost dose not have circumstance of absence decision. People are working hard for their more significant object or decision so that tolerance some smaller uncomfortable, and also can make the best decision from several choices although the best one in their mind can not be gotten.
