position: the outside knowledge and experience contribute a lot to the developments of science, especially interrelated subjects.

No long ago, MIT announce to build a new department named the Bio-computer Engineering department whose main aim is to study the Biology engineering related to the computer science.  It is an example of bringing the subjects' knowledge into another.  The outside knowledge and experience contribute a lot to the developments of the science.

Often when we want to solve the questions, such as a mathematical one, it is no easy to solve it by only one method. Another method may be more easy and clear. The same things happened in research.  In pattern recognition, a lot of mathematical method is used to solve the classifical and clustering question. Scientists introduce the singular value decomposition methods to recognizing the humen faces. The development of other subjects like chemistry, physics and biology ascribes for the information of the math.  Outside information enables people to learn the subject in another point of view and extend the horizon and thinking.  Outside knowledge will be helpful for problem solving.

With the complication of the research, making decision should be a difficult one.  It means that we should consider the influence of every aspect as possible.  Considering the question in one side always makes people rigidity and leads to the ill-considered condition.  On the contrary, taking other knowledge into account will enhance the probability of success. For example, how to arrange the schedule of reviewing the recited words reasonable seems difficult, however, if we know about the physiological knowledge about memory, we can rational schedule the plan and bear more word in minds.  The same things in other fields, such as psychology contribute to the sales of the merchandises.   So, outside knowledge make me easier to draw the right decision.

The outside knowledge and experience are mostly applied into the intercross field, which is the need of the development of the societies.  When the biology and computer science met, bio-computer engineering comes into being.  Two sides of knowledge are employed to settle the problem concerning biology as well as computer.  Using the technique of the computer, more details and structures of the DNA sequences and molecules are known; at the same time, using the idea of the biology, simulating the structure of neural network is employed in AI.  A lot of new-born subjects belong to this kind, Such as the Industrial Design and so on.  intercross field need the outside information  for reference.

Admittedly, it is not any outside knowledge that can be introduced into the field of study. However, every step of the development of the fields may relate to outside information.  The outside knowledge and experience can give me the new thought ,  make the right decision and promote the success of the intercross field.
